I know recently the items I wanted had low quantity but not sure how low. They tried to put the order in and it worked! Maybe I got lucky or the quantity wasn't quite that low. I've had my retail SA order something when quantity is pretty much 2 or the last one and it went. If one can do it, I think they just need to try and at least let you know it may not work or the item could have been a return so you can decide to take your chances.BTW, they won't order if the quantity is low like down to four. I know some were saying FOS was 60% off when my store was only 50% off. Such inconsistency!It is usually best when it isn't so busy. I'm usually there later on Fri or Sat evening. Yes, I just give them the style number and they can place the order. Usually there is a $10 shipping charge and they can ship to your house via UPS. Depending on inventory, the bag can come from the warehouse in JAX or another outlet may ship it. I guess it depends on availability. The last two I ordered came from JAX. One looked brand new and the other looked like a return because the stuffing was out of most of it. It was still in great shape, though.

He was super helpful and said to call anytime and he'd let me know what they had. I assume I would have him hold it for me and then go to my store and do the found order process?I usually ask a manager to assist with the found order since they are more familiar with the process. Sometimes they doubted it was available but they try putting it thru and it goes so that can help, too! You can get a printed and/or emailed receipt at the store but you don't receive a shipping notification from Coach. I had to look in my UPS MyChoice and saw them coming.

It's too bad we can't do phone orders like FP. I wonder why the difference? It's all the same company so if CC fraud was a concern, you would think the policy would be company-wide. Maybe it takes up too much of the SA's time and the outlet SA's see more traffic?

You can have the Vegas store hold it but there is no guarantee the bag will ship from him. I think they ship from JAX if there in the warehouse or maybe from whatever store picks up the order on their system and may have the most available. I really don't know but my last few have come from JAX.
If there are bags I like and just can't purchase right away, I keep a list of them and their style number since that is the only way CS or outlet can look them up. I also search on the bay if I don't have the style number. If you have the color code, too, that is helpful to them but that is harder to find unless you see a price tag. Not sure if the color code shows if you put an item in your basket on their website.
I know....all the gyrations needed to satisfy our fix! Kinda crazy! Why do we put up with it?
