I went to the outlet in Aurora IL yesterday and they had a lot of great items on sale. I have been staying away from the boutique and the outlet and the online stores since I bought my tobacco double swagger in May during the PCE, because I didn't want to be tempted; but there is one small item that I've wanted for some time and haven't been able to get, so I went to the outlet yesterday and I got lucky, I bought 2 of them (!) but I will tell you about that later.

I forgot to tell you about the "small item(s)" that I did buy at the outlet on Saturday when I took all those pics, see the link below:

I just received my on-line outlet sale bandit- I just love the feel of the big drape of leather and it looks good but not sure of the practicality of it - I would have to put all my important stuff like wallet and phone in the middle zip compartment and would worry that other stuff might fall out in the open compartments - I guess I am a zipper gal from way back - I always worry about losing things now that I am getting into my older years. And it takes time to dip into the bag and unzip to get to the phone or wallet. What to do? What to do? The leather really is fantastic though and well worth the price! And the look is tres chic - it seems to me the cool looking bags are never as practical as other bags

I am one who never zips my bags and prefers the "open concept" so I can't help much, but I will tell you that the other day I was on I-75 and had to slam on my brakes, Bandit went flying, but nothing spilled out. That magnetic closure works!
As far as the pouch, I use it for items I don't access frequently, but want to have with me (card case w/store cards, lotion, mints etc.) and put my wallet and phone in the main area. I am not a shoulder bag fan, but love Bandit!

Of course I use it mostly on workdays - to the car - to the office - back to the car, so not much need for in/out access. I did take it shopping last night at Dillards and didn't get frustrated with it (I could have always just carried the pouch in via the top handle as another option if I did get frustrated). If this is your daily running errands bag then it might not be best. Of course, for errands I never take a big bag, just a small crossbody.

Good luck, that puddle of leather is hard to resist!

I agree that the magnet is strong and I don't fear my items will fall out. I typically like a zipper, too. I use the pouch for wallet, etc. and the outsides for misc items. That gives me the security of knowing my wallet is zipped up, I guess. The shoulder straps can be a teeny bit short especially when wearing a jacket but I still love the bag. I must....I bought almost every color! I think some people are hobo people and some people are satchel people. I like something i can sling up on my shoulder as my first choice. I can't really sling this like I do the Nomad but the leather is to die for!

Well - I am usually a satchel girl but I put my items in the Bandit 39 and everything seemed really easy to get to and use - I put my important items (wallet and cell phone) in the center zip compartment to keep them safe and it made if very convenient to just reach in and get them - everything else went nicely in the open pocket areas which are really deep in the 39 so no fear of losing anything unless I held the bag upside down - the bag does not feel too large and the straps are so comfy that when on the shoulder the bag does not feel heavy at all - even without a lot inside - very impressed - I think I will keep - the leather just feels and smells so good...

I am on a road trip and we stopped at the Missisippi Outlets in Jackson. Didn't take pics as they didn't have much in the way of deletes, but I found a lapis blue swagger 21 that I snapped up at 70% off!

I went to the outlet in Aurora IL this weekend and here are some spy pics.

Many items in the store were 70% off but some were 60% off. The Clearance items were 70% plus 20% off.

Some of the FP deletes and more popular MFF bags were 50% off, but some FP deletes, including the steel blue bandit bag, smaller dakotah satchels, and swaggers were 70% off.

The Fisher Price character totes were also 70% off. They also had a nice selection of FP delete business bags and cases, backpacks, and gym bags for 70% off.

Below are pics of the 70% off FP deletes mixed with some "special" MFF bags that were also 70% off.

I only bought one small item at the Aurora IL outlet this weekend, the Resin Hibiscus Bag Charm F29815 GD HOT for $21.60 (MSRP = $90)

But I was very tempted by the Steel Blue Bandit - but I resisted!

Been carrying my steel blue bandit and love it! Something about the color is so soothing!

Love the pink mini backpack but can't figure out what to use it on. One of the SAs at my outlet said someone was going to put their belt thru the straps and use it asa mini belt bag. Would love to see how this looks but this bod doesn't do belts any more!
