I purchased this cute SLG and due to price I couldn’t pass up the lane:
Nice! So apparently they didn't box up deletes and send back to JAX and they went back to 70% off.
It seems like some of these styles they are really having trouble getting rid of. Those mercer, swagger, nomad, metallic dinky, quilted rogue, 1941 trifold wallets, clutches and card cases etc. have been at the outlet for a long time now (even with the 70/25 emails they send frequently) and still seems like they have massive amounts left.
Which makes it funny that they switch around the discounts on FOS and also hide merchandise at outlets when the discount goes up. Once these bags hit outlets, they should try to get them out the door.
Honestly I always wonder how much this amount of discounted inventory impacts their bottom line especially now that Tapestry has taken over the three brands: Coach, Kate Spade, Stuart Weitzman. Would love to know the unit cost of the different retail items or maybe not..... And if you check, the lane bag I purchased is still on Coach.com for $395...
Yes get it out of door before they abuse or damage these bags any worse.
Same with the snakeskin wave novelty strap and probably a few more. Coach tries to get it anyway they can I guess. Haha now I might need another trip to the outlet...
Exactly! Because the problem is 1) the same customers see the same bag over and over--kind of like a house once it has been on the market too long--they don't want it 2) the bags get abused, thus either don't get bought in store, or get returned when sold online.
this is why people get so annoyed at the discount games. Just do the 70% and get it over with. lol

Pleasant Prairie is one of my home outlets. Last few times, they haven’t had many deletes, but it’s been about a month or so since I’ve gone. They keep most of their deletes out, but are happy to look in back if you are looking for something specific. Good luck and I hope you find something!
