Well, just figures that the moment I got my holiday funds, the Graceful MM DE's not available (where it was before). Best of luck to those still in the wait; just bought a Mulberry instead! Hoping the canvas bags will still be available in the spring-I'll be back for one then! :lol:

Do you really think that because a $1000 Speedy or NF is not available for immediate purchase, women reluctantly spend $3500 on a Twist or $5000 on a Petite Malle? These are different markets entirely. Give your fellow shoppers a bit more credit.

Today I was at the boutique and there were plenty Neverfulls, Speedys, Almas and so on. I had my SA show me a couple options for a new mid sized crossbody bag and only very popular styles (PM, Neonoe,..) were unavailable. Though I have to add: there were not many color options for the styles. For example the Pallas BB was only available in one color not multiple ones. As I did not like the choices available my SA recommended me to come back in January for more choices in store as stock is quiet low around Christmas time and everything sells out quickly. I doubt that canvas will be permanently out of stock at the boutiques. It is a little difficult if one is looking for very specific items but stock in general is there and many choices given.

My SA just ordered the Graceful PM in DE for me since every time they get a handful of these bags in the store, they sell out the same day. That's just the nature of luxury shopping--I'm just very patient and I enjoy the LV items that I currently have while waiting for the call from my SA.

I was just in my LV store (and it is a small store), and they have large quantities of canvas bags and SLGs. The leather bags are prominently displayed at the front, but there is also copious amounts of canvas bags in glass cases in the middle of the store.


Anyway, there's no shortage of LV canvas bags and SLGs. There's none whatsoever.
These are just rumors that are blown out of proportion by conspiracy theorists/click-bait-ists and "insiders" just to put people in a panic.

It so funny. Last visit from one of my local stores, there was more leather bags on display. Very little of canvas bags. Same for men department. But They have small selection since the store is small, perhaps they put leather bags on display to entice shoppers since it small. If I were to go Rodeo Drive, I sure would see more selection of goods and perhaps see more in canvas.

Demand for their canvas bags has increased, in my opinion. Therefore their production couldn't keep up with the high demand. Personally, I prefer their leather bags over the canvas bags any day. But of course, they have canvas pieces that I'd like to add to my collection since they are also appealing. I am lucky enough to walk in one day in July and buy a Pochette Felicie in DA.

The canvas line has a very prominent spot with fashion bloggers and in instagram from my observation. This seems to influence the desire to get LV canvas bags/SLGs since they are carried and often photographed (LV canvas is very photogenic).

I think LV stores rotate their display depending on season or what the headquarters dictate on how they should set up their displays. And yes, bigger stores have bigger selection and stock. My LV store is small so my SA requested a store transfer for my Epi Vaneau (a leather bag) when I first bought it.

It's great we are able to discuss and debate what seems to be a bit of a sensitive subject. We don't all have to agree with each others stance or point's of view. I respect everyone's. Whatever is happening, wether it's marketing meaning there's going to be changes or them unable to meet demands I'm still going to be a loyal customer even though they make me into some stalking zombie. The stupid thing is, now if i get my items easily online or instore I think there's something wrong :biggrin:. I'm so use to making so much blooming effort for it.

Anyone have any luck tracking down a Neverfull PM (not MM) in DE? Trying hard for a friend who wants her 1st LV. Any advice or suggestions is appreciated. I have 2 SAs in 2 states, 1 in Customer Svc who is excellent and stalk the website. Looking for an SA in Vegas. Still no luck in finding it. [emoji17]
