I guess it's the regular or the large? It was $378. The stripe one in the picture is $398. The store was super busy when we went in last night so we poked through the ones she could find, it looks like the one I ordered comes in black w white edge paint and silver hardware. It also comes in ecru w seamist edgepaint (I think that is on the staging site) and one other color, I think white with something? I don't recall if there were any flat out solids without edgepaint in the larger size. If there are, they may only be the seamist and the lemon. Both are a little light for me, but the lemon is gorgeous, it's a true lemon, less pastel than the seamist. The seamist is definitely Taegan's color tho, she's a blue girl.
Assuming it would actually ship Monday, we should have them Tuesday, but I'm guessing they won't ship until Tuesday, so we'd get them Wednesday. I'll be anxious to see the black/white as I haven't seen it anywhere.

Also, thanks for the shoulder idea...I was fondling the ecru/sea mist in fp yesterday, but didn't try it on my shoulder....now I have to go back and see
I was attracted to the style and had asked awhile back if it was possible to wear on the shoulder and was told there was no way, it was a true satchel. So I just kind of admired from a distance. Well, Friday, I saw it in person and figured I put a lot of bags on my shoulder that others wouldn't (LOL!), so I gave it a shot. I'm really glad I did!
I actually had another satchel on my shoulder and was looking at it in the mirror when some other lady/employee walked by and looked at me. She said, you actually are supposed to carry it by those handles. I didn't understand what she was talking about at first and must have looked at her funny. She said, you're not supposed to put it on your shoulder, you carry it. I should have handed it to her and said, oh too bad, you just lost a sale since I'm not 'supposed' to carry the bag I WANT to carry it.
I guess if it looks ridiculous then that's one thing, but it felt as comfortable as my borough. Anyhow...
Awwwww....your story gave me chills as well. I have saved a few of my mint condition older Coach bags (that I've outgrown) for my daughter someday (she is 7), your story reminded me of why I'm doing that.
