So far yes. If you want a different hardware combo you might want to consider SO.

My birdie is still one month old so I can not speak much about it. But seeing my mother's very battered very old ostrich Birkin I would say yes! However, I am downsizing my H collection so I am not sure if I would purchase another Birkin..... Oh what a dilemma! Btw we are ostrich Birkin twins [emoji177]

I’m looking for my first ostrich H, a question for the existing ostrich owners: if I choose a bag in comparably lighter colours eg rose tyrien which is my first choice, after years of wear would the pore appear darker and more prominent compared to the rest of the skin? My other options are rouge vif and blue iris.

I have a ostrich kelly that is a vintage bag. It shows normal wear especially on the handles & where you open
& close the bag from the natural oils of your skin.The patina of how the skin/pore ages is too my liking.

Black. Can’t see the darkening on the handles from use or fading or staining. A spa will fix any skin problem.
