Was taking to my SA about rose tyrien in Ostrich. Was shown a wallet so I could see the color. I thought it was stunning. Leaning towards that for a mini Kelly Anyone have this color that could share photos?

I ostrich. My favorite was a 35 black Birkin she went everywhere with me. Then a 30 orange B but was so afraid to carry. Now my new love is a blue sapphire 35 B that I adore. I normally don’t use twillies but use them with her. Any suggestions for something other than a twilly ?

When I was expressing my hesitation at carrying my Parchemin B, and subsequent frustration at finding a pair of twills or anything else I liked for that bag, my SA in Berlin kind of rolled her eyes at the concept. Her take...carry the bag, let it patina! I think she finds the whole concept of babying the bags a little over the top....I'm sure others would strongly disagree, but it's given me just a little more courage to carry and not worry so much

I agree with your SA.. the patina that H bags develops over time is gorgeous.. wear the bag & enjoy her...
I have a vintage matte gator Kelly & the last thing I would like is to put twillys on the handles..
The color Parchemin is beautiful.. let the color speak, IYKWIM...

Try using silk or velvet ribbon that matches the leather color. 3/4 the to one inch wide works the best.
