one of the brand stamp is a little bit off!! Moved to the right a little bit ....I was like wtf ! This is supposed to be carefully made because they don’t cost $200 they cost much more! Had anyone experience something similar ? It’s a little bit disgusting having to end up with sandals that hundred of people with dirty feet have tried on and left scum on it ! Now I’m looking for a way to fully disinfect to be able to wear them with some peace of mind !!

I can't imagine this. Can you post pictures, please?

+1... I have several pairs of Oran sandals & double checked about the Hermes stamp & mine are in order,
so would be curious as to how off the stamp looks
The only issue I have ever had with these sandals is when it is extremely hot, the leather does lift up a little which my shoemaker remedies

You sound like you are quite particular with your clothing and accessories. Have you worn Hermes footwear before? I own several pairs and had a couple in the past, but they don't really stay pristine. I am pretty rough on my shoes, and they end up looking beat up quickly.

Having said that, the store should have not sold you a worn / dirty pair. I bought a display scarf once (that was literally tied up for display in front of me), and that resulted in a lot of steaming of the scarf and apologies about it not being 'perfect.'

Is not really a big deal about the stamp it’s just a little bit moved to the right on the right sandal. View attachment 4095833View attachment 4095834View attachment 4095835View attachment 4095836

Wow... I consider myself pretty particular but I hate to say, I wouldn’t have noticed this in a million years. I really empathise that this has made you unhappy, and I feel bad for you, but I really do think we all need to be realistic and reasonable as well. Even though Hermes items are very expensive, they are never going to be 100% perfect. A scuff, chip, rip or something like that is completely unacceptable, but I do think most people would find this very slight misalignment totally acceptable. Either way, the store needs to try and make you happy. Hopefully they are able to swap them for you and you can choose a slightly more perfect pair. Good luck :flowers:

Well ! I’m a bit meticulous with my stuff ! I keep my shoes clean and bags well kept maybe a little bit perfectionist, I extended my closet area just to keep everything nice and organize [emoji846]but in all honesty it doesn’t really bothers me that much the stamp, or minor cosmetic stuff, because it’s inevitable after sometime to wear everything off but the fact that the 2 pairs where dirty ! So it makes me cringe the idea of getting something pass on ! Maybe I’m being paranoid , nevertheless I have decided not to purchase any more shoes in store, at least no more oran sandals, ( they are the most popular) I got to believe because they are at the lower end in price, there’s not too much attention put on them ! who knows ! .. I never had a problem with Chanel shoes , Prada or Gucci or any other high end fashion house .. I bought other stuff from Hermes and they were perfect but this had really put me off.
I will speak with my SA to see what can be done.

I have a pair of H sneakers with the stamps on the heels. The stamps are a little off from one another. At first it bothered me as it’s visible when worm. I got over it and chocked it up to being hand made.

Think that you should share your thoughts with your SA about the condition of the Orans that you received.
I wear a lot of H shoes & I always found the quality to be top of the line & I am very particular but stuff does happen & sorry it happened to you

Hi everyone,
I just love Orans; they are so comfy and chic. I thought I would share my collection with you. [emoji5]
For those who wonder how they fit, I have narrow and long feet and they’re perfect [emoji1362]. They’re definitely not for wide feet.
So without further ado let me introduce my beauties. [emoji7] I particularly love love love the coral red pair and the pale mint (name is ‘malachite’). Ps: excuse the Corfou pic; last time I went shopping I had to take them home and I love these in this rose gold leather. IMG_3410.jpgIMG_3409.jpgIMG_3406.jpgIMG_3405.jpgIMG_3404.jpgIMG_3403.jpg

Should have clarified I have small narrow feet my Oran size is 36. They may fit differently for larger feet.

Thanks for your advice. I am size 38. I tried them a few weeks ago but I didn't have much room to walk around in them to get a good idea of how they fit as the boutique was so small! I felt like they were very smooth and there was nothing for my foot to grip to so it felt as if my foot might slide out. I really like them. Have you tried Chanel sliders in a similar style? I'm wondering if they would fit better.
