This will start a flame but Oprah is one of the most racist women I've seen
How so?
Oprah knows her opinion is HUGE, look at the people that hang on her every word, she has never publicly endorsed a xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, but she didn't. I think was a very racist thing on her part.
:wondering sorry......i'm not seeing the obvious racist in this.
From the second posted article:
Trudie Goetz, head of the Swiss luxury chain Trois Pommes, denies that Winfrey was discriminated against because of her race. "This is an absolute misunderstanding," she tells Us Weekly in a statement. "Any sales person would love to sell a crocodile bag. She simply explained [to Oprah] that the bag she wanted to look at was beautiful but in a very high price range and suggested lower priced models in leather, ostrich and so forth."
Does the owner still not understand? Since when is it the sales associate's duty to decide that an item is too high-priced to even show it to a customer who is asking to see it? Damn the customer being Oprah; you don't make those kinds of judgment calls ever. The chick wasn't being noble by offering to show a lower-priced model; she had sized up a customer and decided that she already knew what the customer could or could not afford.
lmao.Just give it up lady. No one believes that explanation. Not even you. But I am just wondering. Is Oprah not a familiar face overseas?
As for O being racist. 50 cent must be laughing at that one.
I doubt it because of what Babydoll Chanel just posted:Well, I guess. I missed why O was racist but anyway.
It could be a misunderstanding HOWEVER nobody seems to take ownership of the snafu.
Not the swiss
Not Trois Pommes
Not the boss.
I guess the employee is out of work and is in hiding somewhere.
Exactly! She seems to side with the employer's point of view despite apologizing.
