She must have had serious bunion issues, for there to be scars near her ankles.
A friend of mine had hers, done, but not at the same time, I think about 6 mos apart. So she wouldn't be bound to a wheelchair. She said, she's never felt better and her scars are so minimal.
She is blowing back up...her feet are scary...so bunions cause ur feet to curve like that? Is it scar tissue?
A bunion occurs when the joint bone (just below the big toe) grows outward. Sometimes it is hereditary, but commonly women get them due to years of wearing ill fitting shoes. I certainly remember my dad telling me that poorly fitted shoes can ruin your feet.

I had hammer toe surgey on both feet (not at the same time) and I was in the surgical shoe for 8 weeks, then a sneaker for 2 weeks. My mom had bunion and it was the same recovery time. It is a simple surgery that can be done in a hospital (go home right after surgery). After my second foot was done, I was being vain about one of the toes and he redid it for me in the office. They put a tourniquet on the opposite leg, hang you partially upside down and numb you. He was done in 45 min (took an extra piece of bone out my toe). I have very faint scars on all my toes and so does my mom (less than an inch long)
My friend had both feet done (different doctor) but I recall she stayed home for 8 weeks (so wheelchair). My doctor would not do both feet at the same time.
Indeed! A lot of women should take a page from Oprah's book on wearing proper undergarments.
I know she is kidding with that bunion and shoving her feet into those shoes. I bet her feet are on fire.
