I am now obsessed with MZ Wallace. I bought a black bedford Jane from Nordstroms and I fell in love. It is the perfect everyday bag for me. I have a colleague who has one and she says that she has had hers for two years and it has really stood up; it looks brand new to me. I am going to be doing a lot of traveling in the months to come so I bought a Pebble bedford Kate to take on the plane. I love it as it will fit my laptop and all of my essentials.

I looked at the Bianca tote and decided that while attractive its just not large enough for me.

^^I love my Janes! Just purchased the new Navy Bedford one, and am so excited about it. I have missed the navy MZWs in past years, so I had to grab this while it's available. Yay!!

Hi, I don't have a Metro, but a few friends do, and they love them. Big, functional, and solid colors. I love the new Caramel color for the holidays!

I went to Nordstrom tonight and looked at the Bea (in Draper Tweed and Light Blue / Grey). I loved the look of the grey bag, but was put off by the lime lining and the red/maroon trim. I was very underwhelmed by the Draper Tweed in general.

However, the Metro tote looks like it is pretty conservative (lining color seems to match exterior color) and it is half the price of the Bea. I have to admit that I, too, wonder about spending so much on a nylon bag. I've only carried leather.

Right now, I am carrying a Gerard Darel 24 Hour Bag. I've carried this one for months and am growing tired of not having a zipper. My purse contents are always a mess, no matter how hard I try to compartmentalize and organize. And I hate when I lay it down and everything shows (mess and all). I still love my GD wallet, though...

Thanks LuvAllBags! I am thinking of getting the caramel fleck, too. I have some ballet flats that are that shiny beige/gold color and I wear them all the time because I love the color!

Still thinking about getting the small Metro in caramel fleck, however I wanted to update to say that I ordered the charcoal luster Ava tote based on sandc's pics and the pics at lunaboston. Even though it doesn't have the zipper closure that I was looking for, I've read reviews that state the bag holds it's shape on it's own...so at least it shouldn't be falling into a puddle on the floor showing all of my bag contents. I ordered from Nordstrom and it should be here next week.

By the way...what's up with lunaboston? I think I've ordered from them once before, but I tried calling them yesterday to ask a question on an item and I also emailed. I received a disconnection notice on the phone number (as in "this number has been temporarily disconnected...") and I received an error message on the email. Did they go out of business?

I've been very tempted by the metro too - do you know if the strap drop is long enough to fit it over the shoulder? I can't imagine carrying a bag that big without putting it on my shoulder.

The large metro has an 8" handle drop. The small metro has a 6" handle drop. The pics at MZW include 'body' pics where the large is shown on the shoulder and the small is shown on the arm.

I thought I would go ahead and chime in on the Metro since I've had the small black for about three weeks now. I absolutely love it! i called them directly to inquire about the sizes. I was told that the small was more for everyday and the large for travel. The small is huge and I am so glad I got the info before ordering since I was planning on ordering the large. I was so worried that it wouldn't fit over my shoulder but I have had no problems at all....even with a bulky sweater. The quality is amazing and there are so many inside pockets, I forget where I put things lol. Also, the old style Metro bags do not have a zipper but the new ones do.:smile1:

I bought the metro on the large in the caramel fleck. It is HUGE. Way too big for me so I just returned it. I want something fun for the holidays so I am thinking about the Josie Storm or The Camo. Haze anyone seen the Snake prink Ava. it looks pretty but not sure how the printed on texture would look.

Anyone have thoughts.

I just found a Kate in Tin this week (one of the Spring/ Summer 2011) colors at 60% off from a store in Boston, MA called The Flat of the Hill. I ordered by phone since I'm states away and the ladies there were great. I ordered it on Tuesday and it showed up today (Thursday) with a few freebie goodies in the box via UPS...all for a whopping total (including tax and shipping) of $177.75. I just couldn't resist. I even bought a second one on Wednesday thinking that I could give it as a gift if my sister likes mine. We'll see what happens...
