Thanks, I can't decide between the Baby Jane and the Jane for everyday. I'm not sure if the Baby is too small or the strap drop too short and I haven't seen it in person anywhere.

for me the baby jane is too small for every day but I do have 2 small kids whose stuff I carry around, plus things for work. If you don't have all of that, you'd probably be fine. The Jane is bigger for sure but not too big.

Thanks, I'm trying to decide if the Baby Jane is large enough for everyday (or if the strap drop is long enough). The Jane is a little too large, but I haven't seen the Baby in person anywhere.
Women with kids, usually appreciate the Jane because of the extra room. Baby Jane may be fine if you carry "Mom's bag of tricks" in a tote or other bag. Jane is still smaller than their diaper bag, Kate. If it's only a little larger than you usually like, you can pull it off. The pleated Bea might be an option too. It's slightly smaller than Jane too. They are awesome bags!

I'm new to mz wallace, but I love the look. Does anyone have a problem with the strap (rolled leather) of the Baby Jane or Jane, staying on your shoulder?

I had the baby jane. When empty the bag handle rolls off, but when u fill the bag up it stays on my shoulder :smile1: i also find that the handle remains stiff fairly so if u wear sleeveless/tank top u might find the strap slightly uncomfortable

I have the Baby Jane (for running around town on weekends) and the Kate (which I use as my carry on when traveling). Baby Jane would be too small for work. I haven't had a problem with the handles on either staying on my shoulder (and I do have that problem with many bags, expecially Kate Spade ones).

Just want to add that they have excellent customer service. One of the rivets on my bag fell off and they replaced it in store while I waited (and even gave me an extra), and they replaced the attached cosmetic pouch for me because mine had a faulty zipper.

I now have my eye on the Haiti tote. Does anyone have any experience with how sequins wear on a handbag?

I appreciate all your replies. Since my boys are now 23 and 26, I don't don't have to lug around their stuff anymore, BUT, I do still manage to fill up any size bag I carry with my own stuff! I'm looking forward to finding my first MZ. Would need to find one on sale though.

I'm thinking of getting my 1st MZ Wallace bag- the black bedford marlena backpack. Do the black bedfords ever go on sale? Should I just go ahead and purchase now or wait for a sale? Thanks!

I've never seen the black bedfords (or moto bedfords) on sale on their site. Sometimes you can find a coupon code for another store that sells them but for actual MZW discounts, its very unlikely. They don't even show up on ebay or bonanaza very often. If you want it, you should go ahead and get it.

They do have promotions (in addition to their sales) a few times a year where you can get play some type of online game and win X % off of your purchase but those only come a couple of times each year. They had a great one around easter that lasted for a few days.

I did get the black moto francis on sale last christmas but I don't think black goes on sale unless they are discontinuing the style.

I'd love to see a review of the backpack when you get a chance.

I just purchased a M Z Wallace Black Bedford Jane from Nordstroms. It should arrive on Monday. I can't wait to see it!

Did you get it? What do you think? I saw a MZ Wallace "Henry" that looks interesting as a wallet or a clutch, with a detachable strap, but I'm trying to find a better price than "full" price...

I bought an IKAT Jane a little while ago, still brand new though they don't sell the pattern anymore. I LOVE it! I have been dreaming of getting one of the MZW bags for so long. I have to say that now the Kate is a definite to use as a diaper bag for my girls...just have to save up the money for it. :) I have gotten a lot of questions on the bag already and only had it for about 2 weeks.

What about the Metro? I'm thinking of the small Metro, but I haven't seen it IRL.

I went to Nordstrom tonight and looked at the Bea (in Draper Tweed and Light Blue / Grey). I loved the look of the grey bag, but was put off by the lime lining and the red/maroon trim. I was very underwhelmed by the Draper Tweed in general.

However, the Metro tote looks like it is pretty conservative (lining color seems to match exterior color) and it is half the price of the Bea. I have to admit that I, too, wonder about spending so much on a nylon bag. I've only carried leather.

Right now, I am carrying a Gerard Darel 24 Hour Bag. I've carried this one for months and am growing tired of not having a zipper. My purse contents are always a mess, no matter how hard I try to compartmentalize and organize. And I hate when I lay it down and everything shows (mess and all). I still love my GD wallet, though...

Thanks for any advice or recommendations!
