I love Coach wallets and I am a matching person. I don't specifically purchase a wallet for evey purse. I have a black signature checkbook wallet (at least 5 years old but looks new), a black soho compact clutch, a black signature multifunction wallet, and a black pebbled leather. This pretty much matches every bag I own except one.

I don't use wristlets, so that is one expense I don't have. DD loves wristlets, though.

I do love my mini skinnies! Have to have matching ones! They are not too expensive, though.

Last summer I purchased my only NON-black bag. It is a signature stripe demin tote with the legacy lining. I think it is my favorite Coach bag ever...so I had to have the matching small wallet and mini skinny with the legacy stripe lining. I just adore this set!

I refuse to spend $200 + on a wallet to match each bag. For that money I can go to the outlet and buy a nice purse. I look at it like - who is seeing my wallet? Me? I don't care. A sales person? Will I ever even see them again? Do I really care if they think I don't match an accessory that's inside my bag? If I'm known as "non-matchy girl" to strangers? No. JMO :smile1:

I have somewhat "neutral" wallets that can go with more than one bag. I have a legacy stripe french purse that I use with everything, a chili leather french purse that I'll use with my black patent ergo, chocolate carly, and damier speedy (now if we want to talk expensive wallets, check out LV's.....you can get 2 good Coach bags for one LV wallet!), and a khaki/black legacy slim wallet that's mainly for my black Ali but also gets used with the ergo and anything else if I'm too lazy to change. The only ones I have that specifically match are a khaki/crimson multi function wallet for my crimson stripe tote and matching mini skinnies for my smaller bags. I would love to have one wallet to match everything but for now that's not happening.

Yeah i'm not trying to match all wallets w/my coach bags, it just gets to be a little too spendy... i do love how they make everything to match all the bags, just gets us to buy more! damn it COACH! they lure us in, and it works! haha I just wish they were a little less expensive since we are spending big $$ on just their bags in general!

I have a red soho min sig. wallet I got at the outlet that I use with all of my bags. It dosen't match but I still think it goes. I get compliments on it more than my bags.

I try to think of what bags I have and want and try to get a wallet or two that match all these.

For example, I recently bought the tattersall french purse...this matches anything bleecker, my new patent ergo that's coming my way, and the new heritage stripe lining.

But I also have the hamptons french purse in mahogany which also goes with almost everything.

If something really knocks me out, I will get the matching wallet otherwise I try to conserve the $ for something else.

I never bought a new wallet when there's nothing wrong with the one i'm using right now. But since 3 months ago when i'm suddenly crazy about coach i can't stop thinking about getting a new wallet everytime i bought a new bag. so i can match em. Because i notice most of the coachies have a matching bags & wallet.I only have 2 coach bags right now & i don't think i'm gonna stop buying them :yahoo:

i'm very confused, should i buy new wallet everytime i bought a new bag.So i'm going to ask u guys some question...

How important for u guys to have a matching bag & wallet and how many matching set do you have right now ?

Do u have to buy the exact same model, for example, legacy bag & legacy wallet ? Or just matching the color of the bag & the wallet ?

TIA guys, cause i really need advice on this one

I really like the idea of having a matching wallet but I would rather have another bag for the price.. also I HATE the idea of changing wallets out.. so I have 1 wallet and I try to get it so it matches nothing so it matches everything if that makes sense. :tup:

WOW...matching wallets and bags will break the bank! I DO love the look of a matched set, but unfortunately for me, it is not financially do-able. I invested in a Legacy stripe slim wallet because it will go with practically any and all of my leather bags. The only other wallet I have that matches anything is my Pond French frame, only because I REALLY, REALLY love that color!

i really could care less about matching wallets. really i think a black leather wallet will be great and go in any bag, i dont think people are going to say eww her wallet doesnt match her bag.

I still use my non-coach wallet that I bought about 4 years ago. It is just starting to show some signs of wear but I can't find another one like to replace it. I would consider a coach wallet but I don't like any of the current styles. I never switch wallets and I don't care if they match anything.
