Personally I think it's more fun to mix and match. To me accessories are a great way to get away with a fun design or bright color that you might not necessarily want for your handbag. I don't feel a need to have my wallet match my purse all the time, though. It gets too expensive!

I match, but I have several wallets that can go for several of my bags...for example, up until today there wasn't a wallet that matched my black patent ergo, so I was using my Signature Stripe Zip-around wallet in black and white that has black patent trim.

I think it's good to have a wallet or two that are neutrals & can match with any bag, and if they don't match, then they're a nice contrast :) I have a camel colored wallet that luckily matches my bags well.

If I could afford it, I'd buy a wallet to match every bag, but I think getting the wristlets is a better monetary decision, so I do that, haha.

The idea to mix & match colors is an excellent idea, like baby_gurl said ~ it gives more life to a bag. There's definitely a difference between clashing & a great contrast, but most of the time stuff can be mixed & matched with Coach (& other brands, for that matter) no problem :smile1:

As much as I would LOVE a matching wallet for every bag, I just can't justify the cost. I have a black signature zip around wallet that I have been using with all of my coach bags. I usually only have one wallet to use with every bag, but I do feel the need for a second one. I love matching sometimes, but contrasting accessories are sometimes a lot more complimentary.

I try to match pieces with my COACH bags, but these are mostly wristlets and mini skinnies. It would be too expensive for my pocketbook to get a wallet for every bag. I like the idea, but I can't justify the expense.

I don't match my wallets to my bags. Only wristlets and mini skinnies. I have one neiman marcus wallet that's a solid magenta color and would match all my bags so i use that for everything. I don't like spending the same amount of money of a bag for a wallet.

I buy the wallets that I fall in love with, and I do change wallets regularly, because I have them. But I don't like to match, I do more mixing than matching, I love the contrast.

I have lots of wristlets too, but over the past few years I've limited my purchases. It really adds up, and I'd rather have more money for handbags...

I don't like to be matchy-matchy but I do like to use something that doesn't clash. That being said, Coach wallets are way expensive imho and I don't own any. I get by just fine with mini skinnies. I'll probably cave and get a wallet one day but it will come from the outlet or ebay most likely.

i have one khaki/tan compact cluthc wallet and use it everday. i also have an LV mono clés in my bag always. DH is giving me a blakc bleeker wristlet for vday. i figure the wallet is in the bag so it doesnt need to match. i really want a longer, bright wallet next.

I wouldn't dream of getting a wallet to match every bag...I hate being too matchy. I like to use wristlets and I usually buy one that goes with all of my bags. Right now i'm using my FAVORITE Holiday Patchwork wristlet and it goes well with each of my four bags.

:yes::love: I held off on the wallets because of the price. Even with PCE, they are kind of spendy but I fell in love with my Bleeker mini wallet. It's not too big, it holds a good amount, and I love the style. The only other one I would consider right now is the Bleeker compact clutch. I saw one at the outlets last weekend but I felt bad spending another hundred plus on the same look (choc sig) as the mini wallet I have.

I could never afford it! You're right so many of the wallets cost the same as another bag.

I will use whatever wallet or wristlet goes with the wallet in some way...it doesn't have to be the same color or anything. If it completely clashes then I switch to something else I have.
