I walked past the NYC Celine and decided to pop in to see if they have the Jane in my size to try, which they did, and I fell in love! I just had lunch so the waistband looked great flexed but was rather tight and uncomfortable when relaxed. Can anyone speak on whether the Celine denim stretches out with wear? If the waist is likely to soften, these should be perfect. I just don't want to get them because they're beautiful and never reach for them if they're not comfortable. I tried the 25 as well and the waist was almost the same but the legs were a baggier fit which I did not like, so sizing up wouldn't solve the issue.

Yes, it stretches. I’m not sure about the waistband as they are always a bit wide on me. But I just bought a new pair yesterday end went to a restaurant after I stood up my jeans felt stretched.
I love the style for me. I bought them in white and light blue.

You look gorgeous as always!! I love Marco in photos but they never have them in stock in my size when I go to try them on! I finally just pulled the trigger on high rise Jane in Union Wash online after falling in love with them in New York last month... I still worry they'll be too tight in the waist, but hopefully the stretch will help and I won't need to return them! I will report back

This might be already answered so I apologize for the repeat! Can someone please offer jean fitting suggestions and which cuts?
There are some in the last few posts  if uou read up. I like the Jane. I’m 5’2” and didn’t need to shorten; true to size for designer jeans. I have a relatively thick waist for my size and it’s not really an issue. But, I do think it’s advisable to try in person.

Seconding Jane! I kept mine and they’re just perfect in every way. I haven’t worn them out yet but they elevate every outfit I’ve tried on. I’m 5’6” and they’re a bit long with flats but perfect with heels.

Sorry I made a mistake the wide leg jeans on the first picture are KITTY GOURMETTE, not sure which wash. Might be pismo wash. The site is pretty confusing and you can’t see the cuts well, as they don’t show them on models.
I think the union wash is pretty consistent. I misled you with my pictures for the color.
I also have another style - SERGE FLARE JEANS IN DARK UNION WASH DENIM

Are longer and flared, they look better than in this picture.
Hope this is helpful, buying jeans is frustrating! One needs to try. It helps to have a nice SA
@ari, my queen of Celine denim! I'm considering this style right now (Serge Dark Union Wash) and am wondering, how do you think they fit compared to Jane and Dylan? I'm wondering if I should stay with the same size as Jane or size up in this one.

Dear Anastasia, thank you for the compliment!
I understand that Serge are on sale now!
I’m a bit different in the body, my hips are small, but my legs are quite muscular. So I find that Serge a bit more relaxed.

I received my Serge flare jeans in dark union wash and keep going back and forth on whether or not to send them back. They're very long and would need to be hemmed if I decide to keep them. I sized up and like the more relaxed waistband which allows more room for tucked in knits than Jane. I love how elevated and sophisticated they look in pictures, but in person, something about the stitching and the weight of the waistband feels more evocative of vintage Levi's to me than expected. They also were surprisingly more heavyweight than my other Celine jeans. Should I keep?

If you don't love them in person, return them. You can get a larger size for tucking knits in a style that doesn't give you Levi vibes.

Also, there's something about the fly that just doesn't look quite right in the photos.

I’m thinking maybe that’s what’s bothering me? The looseness with the heavy weight does seem to emphasize the fly.

And I also don’t mean to suggest there’s anything wrong with Levi’s, but at this price point, I’m looking for them to look special in some way.

I had the opportunity to try the jeans recently. While I love them on others, I just wasn't in love with them on my frame. I think I would need to be taller to carry them off well.

I am curious, does anyone know how their "heritage cashmere" sweaters hold up over time? They are incredibly soft and cozy. Not sure if pilling will be an issue.

I tried on the jeans and I'm tall and I found them to look quite wonky in the rear....
