I am so behind on this thread because I went up to the beach soon after I swooned over the new colors/leathers. I have to admit that I liked some of the duller colors, GF,, and am even considering a tri-color of the three dulls...
If I remember correctly the name of the purple-colored one is something like "griolet" and is lovely...then there is also, cardamum (sp.??)....
But, my question for all of you is whether the new Veau Tadelakt reminded anyone of Chamonix.... I was impressed by the small swatch, but there wasn't much to go by and I was hoping that some others of us might be able to offer more opinions. Esp. if I still can't order a bag in the new chevre, I am wondering if I can order in this one -- I don't know yet, but hope to find out and hope that there is something promising here.
Oh yes! Now I remember, griolet is the name of that purply one. I think the other one is cardamom?
As for Tadelakt being reminiscent of Chamonix, it was, a bit. It did seem a few notches heavier to me though, if my memory of Chamonix is accurate (which it might not be).
! It was thicker and that struck me immediately...but I wondered if the surface of the leather (if that makes senses) was similar to chamonix....I hate to think of ordering in a leather with which I am not familiar, however the colors were seductive. 
....but the weight would be a concern.
