i just don't know about the tortoise shell colored links. i was actually quite shocked to see those. i think it might look better in the ivory. still it would be nice to see irl. will look for a thread in here and hopefully find more pics of it. i'm curious to see more pics.

^^I posted the ivory before I returned it, but heaven only knows where! I think it might be in the Kristin club thread. Maybe I can search it tomorrow. I don't think I did a separate reveal, so it was either on the club thread or one of the new floorset or upcoming items threads.

Coach never used plastic years and years ago but recently - like the resort drawstring they have started to - I guess some people dont have a problem with it and that is what Coach is banking on.
Personally I agree with the OP - just cant stand plastic on a 1k bag - it can be the best, strongest plastic (resin) in the world but call a duck a duck - plastic is plastic

I own the Ivory/Creme and I think it's very pretty with the opaque Ivory links. When I first received it I wished that it had the Tortoise links instead, but I have another Kristin with Tortoise links so I like that this one is different.

I didn't care for the Camel (it's more like taupe!) IRL, the color was too flat for me. But that's why COACH makes bags in a variety of colors, so we can all find something that's appealing.

If the color combo that was revealed here on tPF by Megs was available, I that would have presented this bag the best!

Check it out in person first to make sure it's actually worth stalking the Outlets for.

LOL, it wouldnt be LUXURY if it wasnt expensive! then everyone would have it! why do you think Louis Vuitton does so well?? lol I love the bag and I've had it for 2 months now and still going strong! and maybe im just not flashing like that, that i would need to go into a store to see the reaction of a SA when purchasing an "expensive" bag... LOL have you guys ever venture out to other lux stores like LV, GUCCI, JIMMY CHOO, and even CHANEL?! come on people, i've seen worst for alot more...
bottom line is that its my fav bag so far...i never use the longer strap maybe because my arms fits great in the two handles... and i dont have a problem sending it off to get fixed if the "plastic" broke off but so far it still looks GREAT! so stop doubting yourself and just....Get It :) :)
