A long time ago I remember having a nightmare that I did something illegal and I woke up in a cold terrified sweat! How does he live with the guilt?! Is there guilt? I don’t understand how he compartmentalizes what he did.
From what I understand, sociopaths do not feel guilt. The world is theirs and people too, to do whatever they wish. They have no empathy.

That is so scary! Nicole and Ron’s final moments must’ve been unimaginably horrific
Also, those pics above make me sick. People just smiling and having a grand ole time even while knowing he savagely killed two people.

Well there are people who believe that because he was found innocent that he is innocent or never believed he committed those crimes in the first place.

He was found liable of their deaths in the civil trial and has been doing everything he can to avoid paying the millions he owes from that. How that man does not get heckled wherever he goes is beyond me.

Has anyone else wondered how/if his and Nicole’s kids have made peace with what happened? They both seem to have a relationship with OJ. Heck, what do they even believe about what happened?

I often wonder if they’ve ever discussed it with him, their grandparents, or their maternal aunts. Maybe they find a way to rationalize what happened or maybe they block out the cause of death all together? I remember a few years back an ex boyfriend of Sydney’s said that she believed in the “drug dealer” theory. I wouldn’t be surprised if they believe their father, simply as a coping mechanism, despite the irrefutable evidence.
Even after all these years this case is still riveting.

He was found not guilty in a court of law. You can be found liable in civil court and that has nothing to do with the actual court of law. I don't honestly give a ish if he actually killed them or not because his arrogance leading up to this put him in this position but what I do find interesting is that he was found not guilty and people seem to take issue with anyone who chooses to accept the court's decision.

That trial left him pretty broke and can't get work, what is he supposed to pay them with exactly?

Interesting. I didn't know he had a relationship with her parents.
I actually meant OJ and Nicole's kids, and their relationship with OJ. I don't know for sure, but I can guess with a high degree of confidence that OJ does not have a relationship with Nicole's parents, if they are still alive (I'm not sure). Sorry if that wasnt clear!

He either didn't do it, believes he was justified in his actions or has been able find forgiveness in a manner that absolves him of that feeling of guilt. Who knows but it's totally fascinating how he seems so unbothered. I am actually shocked he looks so good for his age because you'd think the stress, guilt and emotions of it all would wear on him but he looks great. I actually expect him to look very worn. So he's either a sociopath or is still so arrogant that he still sees himself as "the juice".

Gotcha. Like I said before, there are people who believe he's not guilty...maybe his kids don't believe that he killed their mom.

That must be it, or else it is a very impressive amount/duration of denial. I can't imagine what those poor kids went through during the criminal trial, thinking about the possibility of losing the only parent they had left, while having to grapple with the horrors he allegedly committed on their mother.

Civil courts are still "courts of law". And he was found "not guilty" which means the prosecution was unable to prove his guilt. That doesn't mean "innocent" which is a completely different standard. More often than not that difference works unfairly for those who are Accused. This is one of those times when it may have worked unfairly for the American people.

I have to say, if he IS innocent, writing a book about how he would have done it if he did it was a spectacularly awful idea. Because that just reads as reveling in the fact that he got away with a horrific crime.

As for his financial status, he gave away a great deal of his assets, used off shore accounts and generally made himself judgment proof. He also has his pension payments from the NFL. That's a long way from broke.
