Have you had a child/sibling slaughtered in cold blood because a jealous and crazed killer ended his life when he was in the wrong place at the wrong time? The criminal justice system failed the families of both Nicole and Ron even though there was plenty of evidence OJ was guilty Tell me how fast you would recover and move on with your life? Nobody gets to decide how long these murders and the lack of criminal justice gets to haunt the families but even if it is forever, that's understandable to me. You have no idea what the families have done to move on with their lives. The fact that they are requesting money they are legally entitled to, that this is made public, is because the public is still fascinated with OJ.
yes, i personally know incredible loss and the failures of the justice system. i don't beat that drum. its a club you don't want to join.
I don't think they "love" publicity. I think they use it since they never got justice for their son's murder, and OJ walked away from it.
I hope they continue to hound OJ util he dies so he never has peace, but knowing him he will still enjoy the rest of his days because he will always see himself as a victim even though he killed 2 people.

most deserving families never see a dime. they have the right to chase him forever, but i feel their life is better spent not doing that. they will never make oj suffer, he just won't...that's the sad part of it.
you're probably right....probably the biggest inconvenience to OJ might be turning down opportunities to make money that they might be able to get to. His NFL pension is protected by FL law but if he did something like a television show in CA, they might be able to get at it. But that pension is more money that most people have. Wonder if he will be able to stand staying out of the spotlight.

Technically that's not factual. Personal opinions aside, OJ was found Not Guilty of double murder. He was found liable in a separate case which does not mean guilty of murder. It means some of the evidence points to him but it wasn't a unanimous decision.
The Goldmans are pestering but justifiably so. They believe OJ murdered their family member and legally he does owe them money. They'll probably never see all of the money they're entitled to but more power to them for continuing to seek it 20 years later. That being said I have no sympathy for OJ. He cheated on his first wife Marguerite with Nicole and abandoned his family only to abuse Nicole. Even if not a murderer he was arrogant, conniving and deceitful. He thought he was above the law. The worst punishment for him was his fall from grace. I know his ego is bruised, he thought he was a god.

All true except for "if not a murderer." He is a murderer, period. There's no doubt about it, no matter how he or his douchebag lawyers try to confuse the public with their asinine defense theories.
Maybe I'm nuts, but Ive always wished he would just come out and confess, and not in a silly condescending "hypothetical" book. People just might have been able to forgive him if he humbled himself, told the truth, and satisfied the judgment.
I understand you'd like to hear him tell the truth. But I don't think that would make people forgive him. The extremely violent way he killed her - almost taking her head off - with his kids upstairs - hard to forgive.

'I been in a car for the last five hours, so how do I know how it feels to be out?' he asked, wryly.
Simpson was spotted in the back seat of a white SUV, his driver having apparently stepped away from the car. He was unaware of the cameraman until he was asked how he was feeling.
'Man, how in the world-- have y'all been stalking me?' he asked with a chuckle.
Declining to say where he was headed, Simpson continued: 'I been in nowhere USA for the last nine years doing nothing. Nothing has changed in my life! What do you guys - I mean, what do you guys expect? There's nothing changed.
'God bless, take care, you guys,' he concluded. 'Nothing's changed!'
Simpson, now 70, was sentenced to 33 years in prison in 2008 for robbing a pair of sports memorabilia traders in a Las Vegas hotel room, but won parole in July due to good behavior and other credits earned in custody.
He was released from the prison, which is located around 90 miles east of Reno, Nevada, after midnight on Sunday morning to avoid media attention.
Nevada state prisons spokeswoman Brooke Keast told The Associated Press that she didn't know who met Simpson upon his release and didn't know where he was immediately headed in his first hours of freedom.

Why is this man even given the time of day in the media? OJ needs to fade into the woodwork and live the rest of his life in obscurity.
