Totally agree. I get awful headaches from headbands, and I wear little wussy plastic ones. At least I can take them off, babies not so much.

The fires are devastating. She has multiple homes to shelter in.. so I don’t have as much empathy for the uber wealthy. Sorry *shrug*
Wealthy aren't immune to deep feelings and connections with their family homes, keepsakes, memories, etc...
I'm sad for everyone with meaningful losses. This situation is positively tragic. They may not need our monetary assistance, but they're no more deserving to experience loss. I'm not sorry.

The media showed it was her Malibu beach house that she went to on occasion.
I agree, she has multiple homes, probably excellent insurance and the rich do seem to build back bigger and better.
It's the average person I have such empathy for - their homes and also their places of work are gone. Even the animals and the wildlife I worry about. But Paris Hilton - not very much.
I know. A household full of memories. Even if it's just another vacation for her. What about lost keepsakes, replaceable antiques,...national treasures,..., etc. But she'll do just fine.
Insurance companies make lots of money. I believe her mansion will be built back "very bare". She will have to foot all the extras. Not to mention time, energy invested in the project.
All in all, when I watch this whole thing unravel on television, I seriously get panic attacks. Feel so sorry for everyone involved.

(Someone found it and was able to hack in because her password was her name.) She lost a few dogs and forgot about them until she remembered later and people went out and found them for her. Back in her heyday, she was called to testify something and I was embarrassed for the school system as to what she didn't know. She didn't know what Germany was (a country) she didn't understand fundamental math skills, she didn't know Hawaii was a US state even though she had been there. This was someone who had to use her first name as her password which is why it was easy for someone to get into her phone.
I guess she matured enough to try to convince her fans she was a bit more clever, but she was in the news almost every day and we watched the trainwreck in real time.
