Visited Moynat at Rue Saint-Honoré this week. As much as I love Moynat, I was not feeling it this visit, thought the Gabby and Gabrielle bags were great. And the holiday collection was so much fun. Hoping they get a new designer and some new bags soon.

Although my reaction is what a sad greige display! It's the holidays and there are no bags in bright colors (which is something that they were fantastic with when Ramesh was in charge).
I haven't visited the maison any of the times I've been in Paris since Ramesh has been gone. Just too sad.
What a nice bag - I would have purchased if it had a shoulder strap. I just purchased the horizontal Duo Tote in the camel/blue colorway. It was on promo in London at 30% off. With the discount, shipping, VAT removal & estimated duties, I think I am coming out >$1500 ahead compared to US prices. The SA who helped me was great and let me know which colorways were on promo when I was thinking about going with a colorway not on promo.

I‘m a guy who’s been a Moynat fan for several years now but I’m really getting frustrated with the lack of designs for men in recent years. I own 4 different Holdall Leather briefcase bags and have been on the hunt for a discontinued Holdall Leather Travel Bag or a Grande Pauline for eternities but with no luck.
I also own a couple of the canvas pieces including the newest Maxi blue/brown canvas tote and backpack but that collection also seems to be frozen right now with no new pieces coming out.
Anyone know if we will ever see any leather men’s bags again or willing to ask their SA when they expect new men’s items? I had a contact at the NYC Madison Avenue boutique but they closed that during Covid and Saks really only carries women’s bags so never established a new SA connection there.

You’re correct. If I find out anything, I’ll post the info here. Maybe a new creative director will reignite the men’s collection.

Probably, but they are selling so fast in preorder, they might not make it into stores. Regardless of your country, I suggest if you want a tag or the new bag, preorder now.
Moynat currently carries a camera bag, tote, XL tote, and wallets in the men’s line. I asked if anything else might be in the pipeline. Nothing’s been disclosed, so your guess is as good as mine. As I stated in a previous post — I’ll continue to ask and post here if I learn anything.
The black/pink and Cannelle/orange combos are new to the Le Duo bb line. The Lunar New Year bag is extremely limited. It might not get to stores as it’s selling quickly in preorders.
