also curious what you want to achieve. as far as I know there are no requirements for placing special orders, for example. as long as you can pay the full amount, they will let you order what you want, provided the atelier approves your request.Anyone here a Moynat VIP? Just curious what spends are required to qualify?
and a lot of their bags are accessible, i.e. there's no quota, they can be bought online, etc. as far as I know.
so I'm curious to know what doors are closed, so to speak, as a regular Moynat client compared to VIP.

Lol for superficial reasons. I saw some receiving gifts for the mid autumn festival where I come from. It came in a wooden box and oh so pretty!
I don't think it's a VIP thing. I think it's more of a store/SA liking you thing. I remember some years ago, not Moynat but Hermès, giving moon cakes in H boxes to some customers in Hong Kong, and they're not VIP

Ohhhh thank you for posting! I definitely think they look cuter in your pic than they did online. I do wish they opted not to engrave the brand on the hardware though - my eye goes right to it for some reason.
I am really glad to see that the brand seems to be embracing the Gabrielle bag/hardware as somewhat of a signature for the brand - the Moynat “M” clasp really is a standout in both form and function.
I am really turned off to see that not only are the proportions completely off, they have stuck all of that branding on there. It's the complete opposite of how Ramesh executed the original design strategy.
Whoever takes over as CD has an unpleasant slog ahead.
I’m happy to see the focus on the Gabrielle and the m lock but I agree, the branding clutters the beautiful simplicity of Ramesh’s design.
The shape/colors are nice but I agree with everyone — the lopsided engraving was unnecessary.
When I initially came across Moynat, I was drawn to these bags due to my genuine appreciation for their exquisite designs. I remember seeing the The Bad Dreams collections and was like "Woah, what brand is this?" (I'm still sad I never got that tote
). Recognizing that the brand was still in its early stages, I never considered these bags as potential investment pieces. I purchased them with the understanding that if I ever chose to sell, the resale value would be minimal.
A question for Gabrielle PM owners, how are the corners of your bags doing with wear and tear? I’m just curious how the Gabrielle will do after many years of wear.
