I haven't ordered anything from FLP.com, but in 2019 I did order through Galeries Lafayette and it went smoothly. Here is the email if you'd like to reach out to them. The last contact I had was in 2019 with an SA named Kristiana to order a pochette for my DB. If they can't help they can probably check the Rue Cambon boutique. That is how they located the grey DB I bought when I was in Paris in 2018. The brown is very pretty, good luck!

[email protected]

Yes, I'm in the US too. After I bought the DB in Paris in fall 2018 I really wanted a matching pochette. FLP wasn't selling online yet so a few months later I just emailed the SA I dealt with at GL while I was there. They were happy to help and it was easy. It never hurts to ask.

Just wanted to update and give a big thank you again to @charlottawill for providing me the direct email address for the Galeries Lafayette store! They responded to my email the next day, connected me to one of their Sales Associates, and I was able to purchase the bag - it was just shipped today:yahoo:

Funnily enough, the SA said they just received more stock of the DB 27 in Walnut brown with Beige Leather recently and it's one of the most popular colors. Clearly there is a discrepancy between what's available online and what's available in the stores.

I'm so happy for you! Wear your new baby in good health! :winkiss:

Re online vs. in store inventory, I think that applies to most of the high end brands. I've experienced it myself with Dior, LV and Prada. And after some of the negative stories I've read on PF about online purchases I'd prefer to deal with a human SA via phone or email when possible.

Will definitely share some pictures once I get it in my hot little hands!:yahoo:
I'm the opposite and typically prefer to just buy things online if I just can, haha.
But the Faure Le Page SA from the Galeries Lafayette store who was helping me was super lovely! Definitely will be reaching out to them again in the future for other hard-to-find pieces

Was it VAT free? Thanks so much for sharing

Mmm..yes and no?
The store made it clear that the price I paid did not include tax/customs/duties.
However, it is being shipped from France to the U.S., so I suspect I will most likely be charged duties once it goes through customs.
Will definitely post an update about it once I receive the bags along with some pictures ;)

This was as of Oct. 2018:

"Also, we would like to let you know that we offer a mail order service with the tax refund advantage of 16.67% (deducted to the price purchased)."

@tamqnn can verify.

Happy to help fellow FLP lovers!

Oh, whoops. I just re-read my emails for clarification and here is what they wrote:

"We can ship to USA, the price will be without tax and with the shipping cost, the shipping cost it will be around 75€"
"But when the product ships to the USA, the custom USA will maybe charge you the custom fees."

So, again, the store will not charge you tax when shipping from France to the U.S. but once it arrives in the U.S., customs may charge you duties. Hope that makes sense!

Bonjour! My Daily Battle 27 in Walnut Brown Canvas & Beige Leather is here all the way from Paris :yahoo:

The color is so stunning in person! It’s also quite dynamic. I’d categorize it as taupe with a brown shade, as the name suggests :amuse:

I also got the matching leather ribbon along with the “N” and love bomb charms. They’re so cute together! The love bomb is super shiny now but I can definitely see it getting quite a few scratches just swinging around in the future.

The SA who assisted me, He Gao, included a sweet greeting card along with a booklet about the brand. Totally recommend reaching out to the Galeries Lafayette store or He directly if you’re looking for something that may not be available online. They’re lovely and we communicated in English just fine.
Store Email: [email protected]
He Gao’s WhatsApp: +33 7 67 91 48 67

Here’s a price breakdown of my purchase (in Euro):
Daily Battle Tote 27 — €1,000
Love Bomb Charm — €66.67
Letter “N” Charm — €41.67
Leather Ribbon — €141.67
Shipping — €75

I did get charged import duties, which I paid via DHL after DHL emailed me: $88.38 USD

Also including some quick comparison shots to the Goyard Artois PM. The Goyard is definitely a bit taller and longer. It was a bit too difficult to capture the length difference in pictures. But hopefully it helps anyway.

Thank you again to @charlottawill for helping me make this happen!

thank you.

I first emailed the store directly and then was given the WhatsApp phone number for the SA. You can keep the entire conversation via email if you prefer. I chose to move the conversation to WhatsApp so it’s easier/quicker to send pictures.

Once I’ve decided on the pieces I want with the SA, the store sent me an email confirming the amount of each item (& shipping) with a link to make the payment via credit card (I don’t remember if PayPal was an option). A lot of brands have started doing this when you make a distance purchase

As for the price, they charged me the Europe price, which is slightly less than the U.S. price online: €1,000 versus $1,320. The exchange rate will vary day-to-day. For example, right now it’s €1 = $1.10. So I paid €1,312.51, which is about $1,442.87 USD. Then add $88.38 for duties.
Ordering from France: $1,532.25
Ordering online: $1,735.00 ($65 shipping fee)

(Note that the exchange rate your credit card charges may be different from what’s shown on Google.)

So overall, I did save some money ordering directly with the store in Paris. And the customer service was phenomenal, too

So obsessed with the Walnut Brown Canvas/Beige Leather combo! And the 27 size is just darling and perfect for everyday, even as a work tote (if you don't carry a laptop).

My Galeries Lafayette SA said I got the last of this combo & size in Paris. Not sure if that means they're getting more stock later on or not. I am waiting for them to re-stock size 35 with the zip though :amuse:
