Love your review. No feet is definitely not cool. Besides that I think it's a very unique bag. The patch work looks great and I hear you about it being on both sides and the wear on the calf hair pieces might be worrisome. I love the strap. The size does look pretty big though at least in the photos. Something about it looks a little off. I can't put my finger on it but maybe if it were a smaller piece it might be cuter. Not sure how wearable it is though. The quality looks amazing.

Well, here she is. I took photos in various rooms of the house where the light is different. I really thought I'd just be packing it up to send back because it's not practical but I think I am going to have a harder time letting go than I thought. My observations...
From 1941 line.
Super detailed as I would expect from a patchwork bag. Mixes of plain, metallic, textured & embellished leathers & suede.
Generous size; when open, the midpoint is 9" across & 5" wide. Useable depth is between 6"-7".
Strap is simple, adjustable & substantial. It attaches at the top on rings by the handle.
The exterior back pocket runs the length of the back & gives a little. I could easily fit my phone, work badge & tissues in it.
Main opening is leather lined (burgundy) with one side having a zip & another having a snap pocket.
Downsides....no feet! WT*...a bag like this with no feet! Not cool.
For me, I would prefer no haircalf at all. I particularly would have preferred the backside to not have anything but smooth leathers. One of my main worries is the wear that side will get as I doubt I'll hand carry much.
Okay, enough rants...onto photos. Would love to know your thoughts!

Oh wow! I'm not usually a patchwork person, but this is beautiful. I love all the different textures and colors and the little chains, the kisslock is so darn cute, love the dark hardware and the outside pocket being usable is fabulous, lined in gorgeous leather, the long strap isn't one of those tiny, narrow straps, it is a great looking strap! I love this bag! No feet on the bottom would not bother me at all.

Shall I send it to you? LOL.
I can't justify keeping a bag that I wouldn't feel comfortable using on many instances. If this particular color pattern was available in the smaller one, I would definitely have gone for it and not thought twice, particularly since it's $200 less. The size isn't all that big. For reference, I'm 5' 7" and 130 lbs. I've attached a photo here next to one of my Rogue 25s.

I'm trying not to buy bags. [emoji56] ha! Is it too big for you? I agree there's no reason to keep a bag if it's going to sit. I have some of those and they can add up to be alot of $$ on the shelf. Good luck deciding!

Your hand does scrape against the zipper, but it does not scratch. As for items, you can get them in and out if they are small (easily without scratching), medium (with care you can get them in and out), large is not easy or probably good for the bag. So card cases, zippy coin cases, compact wallets are easy. I can't put my large wallets or epi pens inside an insulated case in side without really stretching the opening.

It fits more than you think though.
Sorry for the off-topic comment, but would you mind telling me where you found an insulated epipen case?

It's not specifically for epi-pens. The pharmacist recommended the baby bottle carriers. You can't leave them in the car or something like that, but outdoors on a hot or cold day it provides some protection. I have these and some other ones: https://www.amazon.com/iSuperb-Nursing-Insulated-Stroller-3-1x3-1x9-5inch/dp/B01M4GA244/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?keywords=iSuperb+2+Pack+Baby+Bottle+Tote+Bags+Nursing+Bottle+Cooler+Warmer+I&qid=1550793959&s=baby-products&sr=1-1-fkmr0&th=1

Thank you!

Question on the barrel bag: how is the opening in terms of getting things in/out? My big concern is scratching my hand/the contents of my bag on the zipper given the style of opening.
I’d say the barrel bag although a lot shallower or less deep I should say, than the Bennett bag is similar in width and length. I fit a small zip around wallet, sunglasses case, my Mickey key case I got from outlets, a lipstick case, and sometimes I throw a hair clip if I wear my hair down. It surprisingly fits quite a bit for its size.

Congrats! It is so adorable. Love it with the accordion case. I want that case for my new Dalmatians kisslock bag.

It's so lovely! I'm eating my words about patchwork. Yoe're right; you can really see all the lovely little details!! I think it's a good thing that the patchwork pattern continues on the back - it would've looked like Coach cheaped out on the bag otherwise :)

Soo FYI.... Shopbop has an Aristocats T-shirt in white. S and L are already sold out. I really wanted the hoodie but couldn't justify after buying a few Dark Fairytale hoodies.... I had to cave on the tee. Here's hoping it fits!
