Do you have a pic of the patchwork Riley?

I think his is what it looks like

I’ve had this bag for about a month and half now and the bottom of the quilted leather is sagging. I think it’s because the bag has such a wide base and the leather is so soft that it’s started to give. I love the look of the quilts and how soft the nappa leather feels. I almost got the white version as well. However, with the way this one is wearing I’m going to have to think about it. I wish I had the plain black calf leather because I feel like that leather is more structured.

What I usually carry in this bag is a card case, 2 medium skinnies, my keys, headphones, and a phone charger.

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that! She is such a beauty. Can you add one of those clear plastic shapers to the inside bottom of the bag for reinforcement?

So you'd definitely go for the smooth leather version if you were to get another? I'm looking at one of these.

Sorry about the sag. I wonder if designers think of this when designing? Or have bag testers?

They used to. Both Coach Madison Biltmore and Coach Gramercy 7002 top handle bags are similar in style and were both made with specially treated leathers that hold their shape. They don't sag. I think Madison line actually has some sort of insert (cardboard?). Gramercy line was made using textured leather similar to saffiano leather. Nappa leather is soft so while they could stitch it to give it quilting, I think it's better suited for slouchy styles. Maybe they could've/should've used at least an insert for the bottom. That sag is definitely disappointing! 7f0f0fc9cb6eca0d3ce205d1fae05eca.jpegab299802c9003043b1f11f96a487c905.jpeg
