. You can carry this bag by the hand, on the crook of your arm or adjust the strap to carry on the shoulder. It is lined inside with the same leather as the outside. Here are some WIMB pics. I don't carry a lot so you could put one more wallet in there but it would be hard to reach for unless you stack things in the order you want to get them.
Funny - it looks like white to me in the pics @Dkane92 posted. Guess it’s one of those colors that can go both ways and I should just see for myself. Thanks everyone!

Depends. I have 2 vintage ones (black and British tan) but still got a new one. Yes, the new one is not leather lined and it’s not the same chewy leather BUT the color (pink) is my color and not available in vintage. The new one is also more “refined” without the piping and I find it appropriate for work whereas the vintage ones are a bit more casual and I only use them on weekends. You can try to wait for a discount but I really wanted my pink so I paid regular price, been wearing it since I got it.
By the way, prior to this new launch, I had not paid regular price in years, always waited for sales and promo codes.
I just picked one up yesterday. I got the elm color, and it is soooo pretty in person. It almost has a burnished look to it. It's a pretty spacious bag without looking big, which is a plus for me. I've paid full price for only a handful of bags, but I couldn't leave this one at the store. I can't speak to how it compares to the vintage version, but I am very happy with the leather on this one.

The pink one in the third photo is the crossbody but it doesn’t have a cross handle.
The top handle one in the second photo is the Willlis 18 in vermillion.

The Rambler is a tough call. I'd be more inclined to find a vintage one because of how plentiful that style seems to be in the secondary market. I just found one several weeks ago for $40 and rehabbed it back to life. Now it's one of my favorite go-to crossbody bags when I need something a little larger. I was willing to purchase a bright color full priced from the Originals line because brighter, bold colors in vintage bags are either hard to find, were never made in that style, or extremely overpriced for what they are in most cases. I can attest that the new Ramblers are very nice in person. It is beautiful bag.
I have this one but it's going back. If you aren't tall (over 5'3" +) it does look a bit bulky crossbody. The problem is also the small zipper opening. If you only carry it handheld it is a cute bag.
