Has anyone thought of cobbling together their own Remixed Dinky Satchel or Remixed Triple Dinky? I don't think it would be hard to do. Especially the first one. The second one is more complex for sure. Thoughts?

Three of the new-but-old styles were available at Nordstrom online yesterday. The geometric in brown, zip buy in pink, and the other small turnlock pouch in purple and orange. They are still up on the website but say 'sold out' now. I saw them online over last weekend also. I would keep checking Nordstrom if you like these styles. Maybe some more are coming or they are slowly adding stock.

so I am working on my own Remixed Dinky Satchel since they aren’t for sale online anymore. Hand stitched since it doesn’t fit in sewing machine. I’m wondering if the White Dinky pouch looks good or if I should go with another color. This project has cost me less than $100 so far! Any thoughts? I’m loving this upcycled look! I still need to attach the front Dinky and the crossbody strap. I’ve attached photos of my progress!

I love it! You're doing great! Can't wait to see the finished product!!
ETA: I can't tell what's going on with the buckles. Can I see a close up of them how they are attached and where?

Hi there! Thanks for the feedback!
It was funny how I did the straps at the bottom. Now I wish I had taken a better photo of it! I threaded a belt through and the the second belt through. It was not easy but doable. My straps were different lengths so it worked out. I posted a photo! It was a tight squeeze!

Update!!
Now I’ve attached the small Dinky purse to the front successfully! I’m very happy with it! I’m on the fence about how to make the crossbody strap attachments. Should I use the same attachments from the body of the bag and a striped strap, or another strap and attachments from a totally different bag?

This is the perfect size of a purse by the way! Not too big and not too small, either. Fits my iPhone plus perfectly with room to spare plus keys. I love that the top zips. Handle drop fits perfectly over my shoulder, yet also perfect in the crook of my arm to reach for wallet, etc. The only con I see with this is not having a back pocket. This would fit a simple purse organizer easily. I’m thinking about making another one! ;)

Hmm. I don't have a suggestion for an open back pocket. However, if you like zippered pocket maybe add on one of these on the back to serve as a pocket? Screenshot_20191119-005114.png

I think it would make it too bulky for my taste. But it would make a great base for another remix! Thanks for the suggestion! To be honest I don’t think it would be possible to fit a back pocket with the straps the way they are.

Did you decide on what to used for the strap attachments? I had to go back to the inspiration source and looks like Coach used black to match the bag used in the front. You could follow the same theme and use the same color as your front bag. Or use black to match your long straps..or use whatever color your heart desires!

Oh this photo you attached is awesome!!!! Thank you for this insight!! I had no idea they used different colors for the strap and attachments on the sides. Thanks for this! I was thinking about black and/or a dark brown. I definitely think a contrast with the large bag compartment is best like Coach did it.
