wow some of the bags are really pretty this year
they did a roma with a stitch in it in empire or lagoon not sure which
in the middle of every woven square there is a stitch
I am not explaining correctly
but it is pretty

Cruise collection as well as cruise catalogue are now up on the Bottega website.

Absolutely GORGEOUS selection of bags !

The second generation Nuvolato appears to be the the vernice lambskin python tote coming in assenzio, magma, empire, or nero. Python refers to the handles...except for California where I hear the handles will be in nappa...retail $6200. Seems that this tote only appears online and not in the catalogue.

Love the degrade nero vernice on page 10...does anyone know if it's hard to get inside due to placement of zipper?

And those assenzio earrings on page 67 - stunning color!

It's a fun catalog to look through :love: but some items are so expensive...

For sure, there will be. I noticed that BV has not been taking a lot of photos of their classic bag styles lately. This is also why we don't see a lot of them show up on the catalogs recently. It must be the cost of photography (and printing in the case of the catalogs) that's making them reduce the number of iconic bags and just feature the new, seasonal styles.

For example, I just came back from Taipei and saw a lot of other F/W bag styles (& colors) as well as different SLGs I've not seen elsewhere. Like a Flannel+ Steel Silver fettuce combo, a Carbonne + Blue-grey steel combo, etc. Plus OMG, I saw the Ink Croc Knot!!! But I digress, this is the Resort thread after all.

I just wished they would at least improve the website and show at least one picture of the style there. They can then list the colors it will come in or better yet use one of those web features where the color on the photo changes when you click the swatch. Oh well...

PS: The Taipei Trunk show is on Nov. 4 at the Bellavita store in case anyone is in that part of the world next week.

Some of the prettiest colors in awhile are in this Cruise collection. I'm loving Empire and Lagoon. I'll have to see Magma IRL--not sure on that one yet.

The catalog has lots of drool-worthy jewelry but the prices are:faint: quite a bit over my miniscule budget.

You ladies know me too well (or am I that predictable?). That is the very bag that I was discussing with my SA at the trunk show with the tiny pic in the look book she had (and thus I didn't really pay much attention to the actual S/S items right in front of me), and also the very pic that I was drooling on last night while cursing:wtf:at Project Runway finale.

The CA boutiques will get them with lambskin handles, and I could have it transferred here. I'm sure the python is giving it an extra oomph, but I would be much happier with plain simple handles.

However, I really need to see the colour in person, the price is insane for me, I'm not sure if I like vernice, and the online description "suede lining" is puzzling me.

In any case, my SA will be calling me as soon as she gets one (with python handles), and we will see if it's meant to be for me. After all, I am done, you know?;)
