Thank u for the input on the orange bag also. I am on the fence. Its from Rebag so i think i have 7 days to consider it. Its an orange Bolide 31 and its really pretty….i don’t have any other orange bags except for an orange mini Veneta, which is so darn cute i can easily pull it off. The BOlide is a lot bigger tho.

Speaking of returns, for those who purchase on FP, go read their new return policies. It used to be 30 days but now its 15 days from the day they ship! And if they do not receive it back within that window, your refund will be 70%. Plus if you exceed a certain percentage of returns they are now charging a 10% restocking fee.

It was fun for a couple of seasons. At the time I bought it, I had fallen in love with a much more expensive Prada bag and the Kate Spade was a way to get the fun pop of color without too much of an investment. However by the time I was tired of the Kate Spade, I could honestly say that I would still have been keeping the Prada if I had gone that way, it was a wow kind of bag. An orange Bolide sounds fabulous!

Not good news about FP's new return policy. 15 days from the day they ship is really cutting it close.

if you are new to orange, perhaps something smaller?

Thanks for the revised intel from FP. Recent visits had a few pro sellers pacing around the parking lot steaming mad about low FP purchase offers. BooHoo poor resellers.
As far as wearing particular colors, if you love it wear it if you don’t return it. I have a pair of baby pink flats from The Row that I love. The shade of pink next to my skin screams dead bury her, but when peeking out from washed wide leg jeans, white tee, scarf & jewelry in my mind they work I had an orange baseball Cervo that I worn to it‘s final death, my most complemented bag. If orange is not your thing then you know what to do.

Yup, its a lot of orange! Its a beautiful bag in orange tho But its a lot of money to invest in a bag i am not 100% sure about. I am going to carry it around the house the next couple of days with a few different outfits, to get a feel for it. Thank you for your input, its appreciated my hesitation might be my gut trying to talk me out of it lolol. Something smaller, as you suggested (a Pico 18), might work a bit better!

That Bolide is gorgeous! I happen to love that orange. How do you feel when you carry it? That's the most important factor in your decision.

ETA - I'm not happy about the change in return policy at FP either. Sometimes shipping takes longer than expected. At a minimum it should be counted from delivery date. I have yet to return a bag I've purchased from FP, but I will now be more cautious when purchasing. Thank you for letting us know!

Thank you i love the color too! When i hold it in front of a mirror, it does not look wonderful on me, i look at my face/coloring and the bag and its not a fantastic match. But. Its such a pretty and fun color, plus the price was really really good. I watched it sit on Rebag for at least 8-10 months until they marked it down and then i had a coupon too.

Yeah, i think sales will drop off if people take a hit returning a bag that falls out of that window. Bags that ship from their CA location can take 10 days to get to me sometimes. If there is a delay on top of that….not a good policy to start the clock when its shipped versus when it arrives to the buyer.

Bag is suede lined but pocket is not.

This is not a Veneta, it looks like a Sloane. I’ve never owned a Sloane so lets wait for @indiaink to chime in. This pocket lining does not look like suede (which is shat all my Veneta pockets are lined with). If its some kind of fabric, if you are careful not to get the bag or interior wet, you could probably do a cleaning on it. Maybe someone spilled something sticky in it?

Oh that’s even better - pull the pocket out, much as you have, put a towel down to protect the rest of the bag, and dab the sticky areas with a damp white cloth until the offending stuff is gone. Wait until the canvas is dry before resuming use of the bag.

If you feel you have to get stronger with it - mix up a weak solution of Woolite or white soap and use a toothbrush to scrub gently at what remains. Rinse with the damp cloth, and again let air dry.
