I don't have any issues with the stricter return policy, with exception of the clock starting at shipping date vs. delivery date. I wouldn't even mind if I only had a week to decide if it was from date of delivery.IMO FP’s changes are due to people abusing the return policy and using them more as an unofficial rental service. Always some influencer at the showroom photographing themselves with H bags.
However, there are too many unknowns that can occur from the time the package is marked shipped until delivery date. They could mark it shipped on a Friday, and but UPS does not pick it up until Monday. Or there could be inclement weather delays. Or the package gets lost. It even leads to the possibility that the package may arrive after the return window has closed.
I think the previous return window was 30 days from date of shipping, but 30 days typically gave me 2-3 weeks to return if the item didn't work out. This new policy may keep me from ordering items from the New York showroom, since they take a few days longer to get to me.
