Thank you! That is exactly right. I would say ivory with a tiny hint of gray since it's a cream, off-white color.

Hi-this is a trivia question. Given the size of R23, a purse insert is out of the question therefore what do you do with your basics like lipsticks and/or pen? Any tips please to prevent staining disaster? much appreciated.

I usually put keys or makeup in a drawstring or zippered jewelry pouch (cloth or a velvety material) to protect from scratches and stains. I have even used a zip lock bag before when I didn’t have a pouch on me.

Always put them in a cosmetic pouch
Anything that will leaked or stain

Thanks allure244 and bagidiotic for your great tips. Here are pics of my roulis (inherited from my MIL when I visited my FIL after his heart bypass recently as she thinks it’s “too young” for her).
I am recycling a little souvenir pouch from the airlines and till I see another ..

Has anyone ever replaced the hardware of their roulis? I just got mine in permabrass and with just taking it out twice and being careful with it I was dismayed to see how scratched the hardware got! It seems to me that the hardware is a significant portion of the bag so I imagine it might be cost prohibitive if not impossible to replace......
