How do you experience Roulis owners store your bags? I have my method down for Bs, but don’t have any Cs and this is my first Roulis. Right now I have her laying down in her box with a white towel folded between the front and back pockets. Or is standing up better? Thanks!!

Checking to see if anyone knows the answer to this? Would love to know how you current Roulis owners care for your babies.

I wouldn’t consider myself “experienced” since I only have one mini roulis in evercolor, so I can’t say I know what the best method is. I keep mine standing upright on a shelf on top of its dust bag and haven’t had any issues. I do the same with my box C. The roulis seems like a structured enough bag that I don’t foresee any issues with slouching over time. That being said, I store all of my bags upright and in a display case because I like to look at my babies easily. (I only have 1 B25 and 1 K25 so do not worry about slouch, but if I add larger B/Ks with a greater tendency to slouch then my system may change.) I do worry though when it’s hotter or more humid, that the resin along the bottom edges might get sticky against the shelf, which is why I put it on top of a dust bag on the shelf.

If you’re already storing your current collection laying flat in their boxes, I don’t see anything wrong with storing your roulis in that way as well. Maybe just keep the inside of it lightly stuffed with paper or felt to prevent it from caving in with time due to gravity?

My Roulis is in Sombrero leather which is very structured and stiff, so I just keep it laying in its box and sleeper bag with the sleeper bag open at the top, the box open as well. I do not stuff the bag as the leather doesn't sag, but I do roll in one side of the strap as I feel it gets deformed quickly.

Thank you!! I was worried about the caving in so put a while towel on each slot. Standing up sounds like it works also!
