I do not know if a Twilly is strong enough, but you could tie an end of it
around each handle and make the Twilly sort of like a Lindy strap. Does that make sense?

Thank you for the advice! Bought a picotin lock 22 yesterday in black/ toffee eclat. Just trying to see if there are other possible ways to wear the bag instead of carrying on the crook of the arms. My SA told me it can be tie with a twilly and use that as a shoulder bag. I do think it's rather flimsy too.

Perhaps your SA meant a maxi twilly? This blogger used a regular scarf:

Other people have added straps to the hardware. I'm not sure if it's recommended for the bag, but it looks cute and perhaps if you didn't carry it like that all the time it might be fine. I don't have a pico though!
