I can't think of any H item I've worn so soon after buying and with such joy .
My Flamingo Party Pareo has enabled me to get to wear a design I couldn't love on myself in silk .
And also to wear peacock blue , a colour I adore and which is made possible for me wear wear by the addition of navy, coral, magenta and orange.

My favourite bits are the lovely lily pad leaves .

I'm still p'd off by the label , it means it can only be worn on one bias which is a shame.
frou frou, thanks for the inspiration! The pareo looks good on you and perfect for the recent London weather, too.

Here's me wearing my new pareo from the recent H sale in Paris.

Wen84 You found a real beauty ,lovely colours and Echec du Roi really suits the cotton.

Hello all pareo-lovers

:help:I can't decide whether to order a Brazil pareo or not.

I love the pattern and the colours. Especially the Azure blue H102170M 04.

But I haven't got a clue as to how it will look from behind when worn in true pareo style.

Will the large circular feather pattern encircle, highlite and visually enlarge my "derriere"? At my age that would make me look rediculous. Is it a pareo that is best worn as a scarf or skirt instead of pareo-style?

If any of you own a Brazil pareo, I would be most gratefull for any modelling pictures of Brazil, especially worn pareo-style.

Finally wore mine to the beach! I rinsed it later in cold water and it dried perfectly fine, no color-run at all, just FYI in case anyone was worried about the bright colors.

It looks fabulous on you rainneday!!! I must try to replicate how you've tied yours when we head South Ina few weeks. I have the dark cw of Mythiques Phoenix, which doesn't exactly have a beachy vibe to it, but it should work well with my black bathing suit.

So bright and lovely, perfect colourway for a beach holiday!

Thank you, Periogirl! :smile1:

Sensational in this c'way , love seeing it in its natural habitat:D

Thank you, Frou Frou! It served its purpose well! :smile1:

Thank you, hclubfan! What I did was to tie the ends as if I were knotting a tie, but backwards. I had no idea how it would turn out, but it looked good so I left it! :flowers: I think you MP will look beautiful with a black bathing suit. I love the MP...
