I've had two comments on it IRL so far, both (guys) have said "you look like you have the Greek flag wrapped around you." :lolots: Not exactly a compliment, but oh well!
Hmmm... I actually like the Greek flag. (And I love Greece.) So I'm thinking that I personally would not mind looking as if I was wearing the Greek flag :D

Normally I would agree, although Greece is just a little too topical at the moment. ;)

Back on topic! Does anyone know whether any of the current season scarf designs would make it onto a pareo? I'm now a pareo convert and would love a Tyger Tyger one.

Hermes pareos are truly fabulous pieces and far underrated. I have only two, both from the Pret-a-Porter line, rather than the super large normal beach line—of which Flamingo Party is one. Both of mine are of Mythiques Phoenix . . . and after taking them to the Caribbean, I grabbed both of the scarf version because nothing says "vacation" so much as this design.

Gorgeous pics! What size are the pareos from the pret-a-porter line? I can't seem to find the measurements on the H-website

Just brought home the blue 'Flamingo Party' pareo, same as Monceau andTT
I'm sitting here watching Wimbledon with it draped around my neck ,that's a first!
I usually take a few weeks to get round to using my stuff ,the cotton is so soft I love it!

I'll share photos later, also I have an older H pareo which I'll post just for the record.A lot of those can be picked up for very little and although I may not wear mine as a scarf [ it's very bright] I wear it as a dress around the home all the time in the hot weather as well as on the beach.

I just got the exact same one today as well, frou frou!! Mine hasn't arrived yet, but I would absolutely love to wrap myself up in it to watch Wimbledon! It's such a gorgeous cw, and I blame Monceau and TankerToad for luring us to the cash register for this one!

I couldn't sleep after seeing the photos Monceau and Tanker Toad posted :D
I never expected to find it in London !

Flamingo Party Pareo CW #01

^^^rainneday, I missed this post of your stunning FP pareo in cw#1! I was trying this on at H yesterday, and fell in LOVE, but I also wanted to compare it with FP #2 (which is being shipping to the store for me). I adore both, and want to use them at our place in Florida, but my dilemma is that I usually wear subdued colors (being the color-phobic Canadian that I am!), so cw #1 is a bit outside the box for me, but perhaps it will work very well in Florida). Decisions decisions...I will compare both in the store next week. Yours looks just amazing on you!

:smooch: Thank you, HfromT! You know, I don't normally wear reds or orange, but because the material is so light I can get away with it in a Pareo.

It actually took some getting used to and now I find myself being more open to wearing a bright color like orange, I even have a gavroche on the way that has orange as part of the colorway.

Good luck! & let us know what you decide :smile1:

This is pretty! If only they had this at the H sale in Paris... (They had it in black, not a color combo that I liked.)

Bought my first pareos from the recent H Summer sale in Paris!
