Hi, many thanks for your reply.Clemence is fine in the rain. Just don’t absolutely soak it/dunk it. If it gets wet, gently wipe the drops with a towel/cloth within a reasonable amount of time.

Congrats! RG is a beautiful colourView attachment 5065292My new lindy 26 in rouge grenat with gold hardware. I had never seen this colour in real life but it is rich yet muted at the same time.
I'm no Lindy expert but I do own three beautiful Lindy of different sizes (L30, L26, and ML). I got my L30 first and I remember alternating between L30 and my Toolbox 26. For me, L26 is definitely a game-changer in terms of daily wear - it is still quite roomy - like you I have to have my water bottle and the 300ml bottle fits fine in the bag. Not quite sure about lunch though unless, your lunch consists of snack bars. I can feel a difference in terms of weight between the two sizes.Dear Lindy experts, I need some advice.
I’m in the market for a bag I can use for work, something that can fit all my basic essentials (wallet, keys, sunglasses, makeup pouch...) and also a water bottle and lunch (yes, well-secured, no spills!). I don’t need to carry files or a laptop.
I’ve set my eyes on Lindy 30, but based on the reviews I’ve seen and read I hear many say they’d prefer the size 26 - some even regret buying the 30! The weight and bulkiness seem to be some of the main issues. I don’t think the 26 is big enough for my needs, but the comments make me hesitate... is Lindy 30 the right bag for me?
Would you recommend Lindy 30? What are the pros and cons? Do you think some other bag be a better choice for me?
Hello my 2 cents worth of advise base on your necessities you can consider the 24/24 in size 29. You can even add in some documents if some days is require for you to take.Dear Lindy experts, I need some advice.

Other non-B/K/C H bags that you may want to consider - if being roomy is your priority, may I suggest the Toolbox, the Victoria II, and the Garden Party - I have all three and they are all very roomy - my son has kidnapped my Victoria II and he uses it for his gym and uni. I also love Victoria elan but you can only get this pre-loved now. Still fits quite a but less bulky. The Toolbox has similar dimension as the Lindy (and if being bulky is a concern, I read that the Toolbox 20 is also roomy).
If weight is your concern, then perhaps you may want to consider different leather - L30 are mainly in clemence but you may want to try L30 in evercolor or swift. My L26 is is Veau Volupto (smooth leather like swift) and it is definitely lighter than my clemence L30.
Good luck in finding your baby and do update us on what you decide!

Hi! I’ve admired the Lindy from afar and went back and forth w both L26 and L30 sizes for many years... finally got myself an L30 last year (also thinking L26 was too small). To be honest, it’s beautiful, but I don’t really reach for it as much bc it’s sooo bulky. I have a tough time getting in and out of it, and it does get heavy as you put more items in... but I’m def in the minority since lots of members here love their L30s. If you really are set on the Lindy for work and OK w it just fitting your essentials (plus small lunch), I recommend L26 over L30. Try on both sizes in store to be 100% sure you love it though.
Other options you can consider for work are Evelyne 29, Bolide 31, or Double Sens 36/45. I don’t have a Double Sens yet, but am really interested in one. My SA said she hasn’t seen one in awhile, so I’m patiently waiting for one in the right color combo.
Good luck and keep us updated on what you get!

Thank you for your honest reply and recommendations. Especially the Bolide has also been on my radar.
But ohh, I’m so torn! On one hand I want a bag that is big enough and doesn’t force me to pick and choose every item because of limited space, but on the other hand I want the bag to be something I love wearing. If I choose a 26, I’m suddenly in medium sized territory, which I’d kind of already reserved for the Halzan![]()
The best bag size for you is determined based upon your proportions. I googled this once (what bag shape is best for my body). If you are in us, you can purchase an l30 on fp and see if it works for you. They offer free shipping and free returns for full refund.
How about a halzan AND a garden party 36?
Ah, yes! This is a factor, too. I’m in Europe, so visiting the store is probably best. I just need a plan first
Have you been reading my mind? This could be an option too, but tbh I’ve never even owned an open tote (it amazes me that I’ve avoided one for all these years). I guess that totes with no security just haven’t spoken to me, too risky. I should probably try one, if for no other purpose than to “get to know totes”.
It would be in addition to getting b/k/c for me. I always think that there is more to H bags than the trifecta - my first H bag is a Wallago Cabine, a travel bag, my first H handbag is a Victoria, and my early H handbag crush is a Halzan! I became a H fan quite late in my life (40s) and by this time, I sort of know what I want from a handbag. Love my Lindys as they are especially so functional in current times - external pockets!Hello Lindy lovers: for those of you who have multiple Lindys, did you choose the additional Lindys in lieu of getting a b/k/c, or in addition to getting them?
