You are welcome. Glad to help. It doesn't fold (like a cookie) with the purse insert as it has a flat base in it.

Yes, I love both - the Calvi is great for excess cards [maximum 10 cards before it goes out of shape] or when I carry my Roulis which has less room compare to my B25 or L26. The Bastia is for my loose change, safety pins, spare earrings, keys etc ..

- Maybe I wasn't explaining my thoughts well... I notice your purse organizer and what I meant is does it keep the sides (with handles) from folding inward because of it's side/wall structure?

- When you say the L26 doesn't fold like a cookie, do you mean that without the organizer the bottom of the bag also sorta folds as well as the sides? I saw that happening with the larger L30 / L34 and is one of the main reasons I am hunting for a L26... but if the L26 bottom folds without structure that'd be handy to know. I don't carry a ton so I'm hoping I can avoid that.

- For the Calvi - do you mean 5x cards/side (10 cards total) or 10x cards/side (20 cards total) fit nicely? I guess I have three "sets" of cards - the 6 main ones I use all the time (4 credit cards and 2 IDs), my other main 8-10 cards (which I use maybe weekly - health insurance, library, AAA, specific store cards) and my really rarely used cards (gift cards, membership cards etc.). I am hoping to not have to buy 3x Calvi!

- Unrelated (but sorta related) to those who use Calvi/Bastia instead of wallets: where do you keep receipts?

No, it does not but I suspect it has to do with the kind of leather and mine is Clemence which is not as floppy as swift? BTW I have been using this since 2010 and when I put it away, it alternates between standing and lying flat. I saw that happening with the larger L30 / L34 and is one of the main reasons I am hunting for a L26... but if the L26 bottom folds without structure that'd be handy to know. I have not tried it yet but given its smallness, I think, it is unlikely that a L26 will fold inward when being carried without a purse organizer. ;) I don't carry a ton so I'm hoping I can avoid that.

I have seen the compact silk'in at the stores but decided against it as I would like to carry as light as possible with my handbag.

It may not be relevant to your question but my receipts go into the external pocket of any of my purse organizers.

does it fit a car key fob?

Thank you thank you!

I love the photos of bag empty. Also handy to know that you think Clemence is less floppy - I thought because it's heavier that it would be more floppy... good news for me since I'm probably going for Swift.

Re shape/folding, it seems the L26 folds to the center just enough for me - I wouldn't want it to fold too much.

Thank you for the info about the Calvi and receipts too - I think that's a great solution.

Hey Lindy lovers/owners...

- What do you all think about black? I wear mostly black and need neutral (I adore gray/creams but probably too light for my needs)
- Ideally I want black/.swift with verso interior - does anyone know if this currently exists / existed in the past? Don't want to spend months hunting for something that never existed ;)
- Did black/swift with tressage handle ever exist? Or can it be had now?
- If you do go black, do you prefer PHW or GHW?

Thanks!

Lindy verso for Black has Toffee interior but it was only made in Clemence, not Swift.

Tressage Lindy only came in the Magnolia, Bleu Brighton, Indigo, Capucine, and Gold if I recall correctly. The closest to black would be Indigo.

Phw or ghw is personal preference. With the Lindy, it's available in both, but it's probably easier to find one in phw than in ghw.

Thank you @Meta!!

Did Swift Lindy come in other verso options? I keep seeing online a Indigo with Poppy interior? I'm open to other Swift verso options since black never existed.

I guess I'm outta luck there then unless I magically found Indigo with Tressage (but I assume it's either tressage or verso, not both, right?)

On that note, how similar do you find Indigo to black? I wear/own zero navy so it'd have to be really really close to black to work for me.

Good to know both are available. Do you have a personal pref? I wear mostly platinum jewelry (wedding rings etc) but love rose gold and the occasional yellow gold earrings/rings. I guess I'm wondering if PHW comes off looking less "luxe" (more like silver)? Had never considered the visual difference much before until I saw two women near each other each wearing Cartier watch, one had white gold, one yellow... the white gold looked like a replica in comparison... not the best example but it sorta gets to what I'm thinking of.

Yes, there was an Indigo/Poppy Swift verso with ghw. It was the one of the first verso that came out in FW 2015.

Yes, either verso or Tressage. They're both seasonal items. The verso color combos aren't usually repeated.

Please take the time to look at the Reference subforum for blues on how Indigo looks. Unless in direct sunlight or directly comparing to black, I personally find Indigo to be easily mistaken for black. Do note that we all see colors differently. ;)

For phw vs ghw, most find phw to be more modern/casual whereas ghw to be more dressy/formal. My personal preference doesn't matter. You should go with what works for you. ;)

THANK YOU! I went yesterday to my local boutique and while I love Indigo, I think it's just a hair too blue for me. The blue reference subforum was really helpful to look through in advance :)

I guess I'm out of luck on tressage / verso... guess plain black it is!

Got this Lindy in Paris this summer.

For whatever reason, I can’t decide whether I love or find the color (Vert Cypres) boring. I’m usually a blue/gray/black kind of person, so finding it hard to use this not-so-bright “pop of color”

Any thoughts on whether I should “replace” it? Either with a true bright color or true neutral/dull color. (I think I’m debating out loud and need some opinion!)

The photo somehow makes the leather shinier than it is IRL.

I absolutely love vert cypress. in some lights it looks navy, others a deep teal. I have a B30 in vert cypress and find myself grabbing her when I'm wearing all cream, camel tones, blacks and greys. I too am a neutral-ista and never considered this color but upon seeing her IRL, I fell in love. I use her more than my black B30 and gold Lindy. Alas the ultimate decision is yours of course. She looks beautiful with the twills! :)

Good to hear that @DDCHA, since alternatives that I love are gold or black!

It does look great with my fall-color clothing. I think I’m just still in love with a blue one. Time to save up for another.

I love the color! I find SLGs don't look great in vert cypres (too close to black) but gorgeous in a larger item. If I didn't wear red shoes half the time I would've purchased this!
