I did shorten my PM strap, by a lot. It looks perfect. I wasn’t charged, but was told there’d usually a charge unless the adjustment was requested at purchase. It didn’t take long at all, days IIRC, but my store had a craftsperson.
This was probably 5-6 years ago, though. Hermes has changed, and I’d guess there’s likely a fee now no matter what.

If it helps, what I did was fit the strap so it was perfect crossbody, but at its shortest could be worn on the shoulder. That said I very rarely wear any Evelyne on the shoulder, but nice to have the option!

My GM is my most used bag too.
So I beat the bots and scored a TPM off the website today- not my first choice- it is the wool/felt in graphite/noir.
I already have a PM in bleu saphir so I was trying for something in a lighter color. Ah well.
Does anyone have an Evelyne in the felt/wool?? How do you like it?? Does it attract lint and hair easily??
