I didn’t realize that it was this small until I was offered it.
ETA: For me the 29 is the perfect size but I like having the TPM for travel.

My first evelyne tpm in barenia f in ebene from this year
I just got my evelyne tpm and was wondering if an insert is necessary ,mainly as I don't want the bottom of the bag to distort by any chance .I want to know those of you who have this bag ,do you use inserts .I feel if the bulk of the bag is taken by insert how much space is left .If not then will it lose shape .Thanks
I have four TPMs, use all of them a lot, and they are still the same shape they were when I got them. Not sure how much an insert helps with shape - not like there’s a lot of shape to lose!

I use a 7RP insert in my TPM when I don't want bits of the unlined leather to attach to my silicon phone case or felt glasses case, same as with my unlined Picotins. I take out the insert when storing the bag (in other bags I leave the insert in- really depends on the leather and the bag).
Agree with above, don't really think there is much risk of losing shape since there isn't enough leather to give.
I use inserts in some bags but not eve tpm. They still look great and in good shape. Not sure bottom could seriously ever distort. I sometimes squeeze two iPhones in and still fine. Some do like inserts for a contrast pop of color. Enjoy your new bag!
I have two tpm’s. I’ve had a gold for a few years, with a Samorga insert. Ive used it sparingly because I felt I couldn’t carry much and Still not much organization (playing tetris every time I reached in for something). I just got a second tpm I’m Etain. I’ve really conditioned myself to use an insert on all bags that it hadn’t dawned in me to use the Evelyne without an insert until I got the Etain and realized the insert was taking up a significant amount of space. I’ve been using a small Chanel O case for organization, I can fit this (cash, cards, lippy inside), iphone, keys, glasses without stretching out the bag & a little room to spare.
Joining the club this month with the black PM and gris meyer TPM, both with GHW. Can’t believe my luck beating the bots at H.com for these beauties. First Hermès bags and in love! Haven’t had a chance to use the mini Evelyne yet as she just arrived this weekend but the PM is the perfect hands-free mommy bag.

I think the answer depends on whether or not you want an Hermès strap for your bag.
If you do want an Hermès strap, there are a couple options. Of course, there is the Hermès website which, depending on where you live, may have adjustable straps available for purchase. Another option is to look on the secondhand market. Bag straps pop up rather frequently on eBay, Fashionphile, Mighty Chic, and several other credible sites.
If you do not necessarily want an Hermès strap, Etsy seems to be a good place to find all sorts of adjustable straps. Best of luck!
Has anyone had their Evelyne strap shorted by Hermes? Did it take forever and was their an fee involved? I tried searching through the threads but I couldn't find any info.
