A good reminder to all to keep any liquid, including pens, in a watersafe cosmetic pouch or even a ziplock bag.

you're welcome and sorry it happened to your bag too! I did use the leather conditioner on mine. It won't do anything to stain but does help bring moisture back to the leather due to the alcohol drying it out.Thank you, that is exactly what I feared. I, too, will just live with the stains. You saved me the trouble of heading to the boutique searching for hope! Lesson learned, and I hope others see this and are extra careful so this doesn’t happen to them.
Hi! Here’s my bag. Completely stained but at least it on the bottom! The inside of the outer pocket is stained but fortunately it didn’t go all the way through to be visible outside the bag.

For me, a small spot is visible on the outside but since it’s Etain, it’s not super noticeable from far away.
Since a TPM is so small already I never really considered a liner or organizer but I’m re-thinking that now.
In the meantime I’m resorting to sanitizer strapped to the outside of the bag now. Not super attractive but neither is my stain, LOL.

Thank you! Is your tpm etain? I have a GM evie in etain that was my normal daily bag. My blue atoll was used just sometimes. It does have a lot of sentimental value to me as it was my first Hermes bag and purchased in Milan on holiday several years ago
Your stain isn't too bad. Enjoy your bag and it's new character Be careful with that too! I had my hand sanitizer hanging the same way as yours on one of my travel bags and it ended up spilling all over without any warning

@3kidsmakes5 Be careful of the hand sanitizer hanging on the side. I love the convenience but sadly I ruined a non-H bag this way.

I am still debating whether to keep or not. I love the bag, the style and colour. I wanted a hands free medium size bag to carry when having my small kids. But I think the price is such a big leap for me. Usually I stay within €2000/$2300 range for a bag. And as you all know this is much more and it’s a “casual” bag.
But then I think what type of bag would get the most use from me? A casual one for sure. But I don’t want to keep it and find myself in 1-2years time wanting to sell.
