I found a beautiful, vintage Evelyne GM I in Ardennes leather. I love my Clemence Evelyne, and am trying to understand how the texture and shape might be different in Ardennes. I understand Ardennes is stiffer, but would love to hear whatever other insights or descriptions you all can provide.

Does anyone have an Evelyne in Ardennes? Can you share some pictures of yourself wearing it so I can see how it sits? Would you share what you love/hate about the Ardennes leather?

NYC Evelyne fans, there are a bunch of 29s at Madison including Raisin with GHW, Vert Bosphore, Rouge de Coeur, and Etoupe. The Vert Bosphore is on display

It's a different red than I claimed earlier. Havent tried adding it as I want a light neutral or a dark blue, I'm using my black one daily.

Swedish. The prices in SEK were increased by at least 10% on Jan 1 so maybe there is more inventory there...

The new (to me) etoupe Evelyne GM.

I resisted Evelyne for awhile but kept reading how convenient it is. Finally got this pre-owned one to test it out. Next thing I know, I was ordering the Bleu Nuit!

@Hippolyta I am the carry-everything heavy-bag type of gal too. I was able to fit: iPad Pro 10” and my phone in the front small pocket. In the large back main compartment, I was able to fit my MacBook Pro 13”, bag insert with my Secrid wallet, coin purse, LV mini pochette fully stuffed, 2 pairs of glasses in minimal glasses pouches, AirPod case, and small water bottle! On my trip to Canada this week, I also was able to stuff my scarf and hat in there, without the MacBook Pro. I am also 5’7”. As for color, I find the only thing etoupe doesn’t go very well with is gray. I tried Gold in a store and really wanted to like it. But I sadly declined it because it is just too much “orange”! I do think it will look good in a Halzan. I eventually got Bleu Nuit, which will go both with warm tone and cool tone. Hope this helps!
