Great idea about getting out of the car.

Is it also comfortable getting out your purse items walking, shopping in and out of stores?

Maybe Hermes will start selling a short strap :heart:

That would be so lovely if Hermes start to sell short leather straps!

It’s really convenient. The shoulder drop is pretty long, given the bag is soft. I simply couldn’t believe I haven’t thought of it before!

I love the white stitching on my natural sellier Evie and gold Bolide. It is one of the reasons I chose these bags. My dream bag is a 28 Kelly in Barenia. Again white stitching. :biggrin:

Gorgeous! I struggled with this color or the etoupe. Went with the latter but the gold just looks luxurious. Congratulations!

I just this evening arrived home from my first trip to Paris (still cannot believe it!) I must sadly say, the ambience in the FSH was unbelievably snooty. I had to wait for a v-e-r-y long time for anyone in the handbag department to assist me (and I was wearing my Evelyne at the time!) and when someone finally paid attention to me, and I queried about the slippage problem, she told me I was carrying too much stuff in my bag and that was pulling the strap down, there was no problem with the buckles or the strap, a brand-new Evelyne would have the exact same hardware, and I could not buy two new buckles.

The good news is, I carried the bag everywhere throughout Paris and loved it!
