:rolleyes:Ladies I need help to decide which color to get for a Evelyne PM...Black, Etoupe or Gold?
I am 5'1 with petit frame. I have long black hair and cool skin tone. Most of the colors in my closets are different shades of grey, some blacks, beige, dark red, Navy blue. I feel that Black would fit my closet better, but every time when I see a picture of a gold Evelyne, it just makes my heart sing. Need help~ :amazed:
Also not sure how easy to get a Gold Evelyne color these days. I haven't seen one on H.com for a long time, and there is no boutique near where I live...

I think black is a good staple but I wouldn’t get it unless it’s with GHW. Gold goes really well with denim, etoupe is good all year round but it may look muddy sometimes depending on the lighting and the skin color. I’d try it in person for etoupe.

I bought one in Gold last year because I loved the color, but found it works better with my warm weather outfits (usually jeans and white tees). I didn't love it with my winter outfits (mostly black and grey), so I just bought another in Black. I don't know if I was just incredibly lucky but both were available the first time I went to the boutique and asked. (They're my only two H bags and other than a few scarves, belts and clics I don't really have any history that would make a difference.) I've decided Etoupe is next on my list, but in something other than an Evelyne for variety. (I just ordered a belt so I can see how the color fits in my wardrobe. Maybe order the black/gold reversible belt to try out the color in person?)

Yes! I also think that black would look great with GHW, and most of my jewelries are gold.
I had no experience with Hermes GHW before. Some of my louis vuitton with GHW had issues of fading/changing color, so I wonder if Hermes GHW has similar issue over time? Thanks!
I currently own a herbag 31 with PHW, and it still looks beautiful.

I appreciate your suggestions, very helpful. Yes I also have mostly gray and black winter outfit, and I totally agree that black would go much better with those colors. I think I am going to go with black Evelyne for now, and save up to get one gold in the future. :P Hopefully I would be lucky enough to find one on the H.com~

Impulse buy in Geneva airport two days ago, a Rose Jaipur Evelyne! Wore it today for the first time, and felt like a million bucks. Such a gorgeous coral color!
