Personally for me I do like the Maurice. I have both but in certain styles I prefer the Maurice as it is slightly smaller grained and just a tiny bit stiffer that will soften up over time.

Ooh, I would love to see some photos of the Evelyne Maurice, if you have the time to take photos! I have never seen one IRL. Would also love your comparison notes.

I got a Clemence Evie a few months ago and I'm thinking about getting another Evie but would love it in a different leather just for some variety.

I only snuck one picture of the Saphir in Maurice. I actually liked the Maurice - not much different from the Clemence in my opinion. In the picture you can see a little bit of a Shocking Rose Evie in Clemence. I would get a bag in this leather for sure.

FYI If you ever want a liner for the outside pocket too, you can do what I did: remove the pockets on the outside of the liner. Sew the pieces together and voila, it makes a nice liner for your Evie pocket. In my opinion, the outside pockets on the liner are less practical for the big compartment of Evie because the liner already fills up the bag quite a bit. HTH!

Congrats! You could not have gone wrong either way (even though I voted for BN one in the other thread) especially now knowing both of them had GHW. It's a beautiful color (and imo, the gold really sets it off!).

I think in general I like bags with GHW, except in a few color cases where I could go either way, like black or where I think silver looks better like Etoupe.
