Ode to the Evelyne

Hi everyone.I am just sharing my experience after a week wearing my Evelyne.I really am obsessed with it and I am glad I dicided to get the Etoupe as I find it so easy to matched with my outfits.My only concern is color transfer in the backside of the bag but so far I don’t have any? Does anyone have the Etoupe Evelyne and did you have any color transfer issue? Thanks

The Evelyne looks extremely sharp on you. I’ve had mine since late summer, and used it almost daily until last week. So far I’ve had no color transfer issues *fingers crossed* having carried it through the particularly humid summer, and most recently through some fall rainstorms. I typically wear dark colors but rarely any denim. Hope that helps!

I decided I “needed” another tpm. Stopped by to compare the etoupe and etain in person but neither appealed to me. I inquired if they had the tpm in gold, but all they had was a pm with ghw.... so she came home with me! [emoji5]. It is beautiful! [emoji173]️

It looks great on you! I’ve had my Etoupe Evie for 3 years and it has no color transfer. I’ve worn it a lot, with dark coats and jeans. I don’t think you have anything to worry about!

I always wear my etoupe Evelyne with dark jeans and I haven't had colour transfer for the past two years. [emoji4]

My GM is Etoupe and it hangs even lower and closer to my denim pants, but as of yet no color transfer. Looks great on you!

Thank you! Unfortunately, after trying it on with my wardrobe, I find I am not loving it. It is a BEAUTIFUL color especially with the ghw; however, it just does not seem to suit me. I plan on going back to take a second look at the etain and black with ghw, as well as a RC with phw. I LOVE red and I tend to gravitate to the color but I already have the RC in tpm. I also saw someone with the noir in person and it was stunning even against her dark outfit. I also love greys but wish the etain was a tiny bit darker. I am so torn and confused!

Totally get it! If the color does not work for you—exchange it! All of the colors you mentioned are great! I also love the noir—so chic and classic! You can’t go wrong with any of the colors you mentioned! [emoji4] good luck!

I personally would loved to get the etoupe or etain in gwh when I was purchasing my Evelyne Pm but there wasn’t any available and as far as I know Eve w/ ghw is so rare to find it here in europe...In my opinion whatever you dicide noir & etain are both gorgeous specially with ghw. Goodluck

I’m antsy having to wait until Saturday to go back! I really love my RC tpm, I can’t part with its cuteness so I am REALLY hoping the Etain with ghw is “IT!” I will report back.

I bought an organizer from Soonibaginbag from Etsy. Charis from LVLoverCC (YouTube) did a video about hers so I ordered one too. It doesn’t have a zip opening so sometimes I alternate with a zippered pouch my Hermès SA gave me for free. (It doesn’t hurt to ask.)
