I used to dislike the look of Evelyne because it looks too casual. But recently I've gotten obsessed with it because it looks practical and on trend with the atheleisure look. I finally ordered one today off of the official site. I picked a PM in Gris Etain clemence leather with GHW. I'm so excited! Hopefully it will be my favorite day to day bag!

I loooove the look of greys with GHW! I'd love to see a pix when you get it :smile:

I was split on my black GHW Evie until these ladies convinced me to give it another shot. I'm now appreciating that it can add a little more glam to a "casual glam" look. Also gives me more reason to get a 2nd Evie, with PHW, later. :biggrin:

I love the black and gold combo! So glad to hear you went for it!

I will definitely share pics once I receive it! I read that PHW suits Evelyne because it's a casual bag. When I was ordering yesterday, I was debating between a Etain version in GHW or PHW too. I decided to go with GHW because I think I can dress it up a bit more. This is my first Evelyne so I wanted a neutral color. If I get more in the future, I think I will get a bright color with PHW. I think PHW creates a good balance with bright colors while neutral colors look good with gold!

I agree. What I find makes it casual is the strap which I absolutely dislike (please don’t hate me). I have been using it more lately while vacationing and the pilling is bothersome to me. I have used a beautiful rolled gold metal chain strap ordered for my LV Pochette from Mautto handbags but my hardware on tpm is PHW. I will be ordering a silver one to match it when I return home which looks like this...

Are the rolled metal chain straps comfortable? I, too, don’t use the evie straps. They’re uncomfortable and overwhelm my 5’0 frame. I’ve been using the wide pebble leather straps from Pop & Suki. They make one that is about 35.5” which hits me at a perfect spot when I carry crossbody. Unfortunately the color choices are limited and the hw is mainly gold.

Hi there!

I hope this make sense... The rolled strap is substantial and has weight; however, since I use it with the pochette and evie tpm, both small enough that I can only carry essentials, I find the strap to be comfortable. Here is a picture of the gold strap. Can’t tell too much that the evie’s hw is different but going to order one for it. I am also 5’0 and curvy, the original strap just does not lay right crossbody.

She has different styles; leather in all sorts of colors and flat chains in different width and length.

Nice! I was never interested in Evelyn either at first. Somehow it doesn't look right on me although I really like them on my friends. I DO like the TPM size for some reason. I started hunting them down in every cute color combo!

Thanks! Always good to have options. I think ultimately (not high on the priority list) I will invest in a sangles in 85 since that will probably work well with my frame. In the meantime, I’ll consider all options that won’t set me back over $1k:biggrin:

I wasn't interested in evelyne for a long time too. Not sure what happened. on the contrary the TPMs are just so adorable. I think its small size makes the bag look super fun and cute. It was love at first sight for me. I have way too many small bags tho, which is why I'm going for the PM. I'm planning to wear the strap super short cossbody. May have to figure out a way so that it rests near my stomach and hip area. I think it would look kinda edgy that way.

I just pulled the trigger on an orange insert too. Not sure why I picked orange, hopefully it works with etain. Lol...
