I've been meaning to post about twillys or silks on Evelynes. Not sure if this has been mentioned before but wanted to share my experience. This is probably common sense for many of you, but not dumb-dumb me.I tied a twilly (and gavroche) on the ring on the bag where the strap attaches to and didn't realize until it was too late that the snap hook cut into the silk (same w/ gavroche).
Lesson learned for me. So, I now tie any silks or charms to the ring on the strap that the hook is attached to instead.

You can totally go in and request one. They often have them on display as well. Don't be shy, it's one of their most popular non b/k bags. The TPM size is often difficult to come by but not necessarily something you need to build up a profile to get. Good luck!
That is how I started with Hermes. I just went in and was looking for a crossbody. Something easier to use because I had a baby. Then it was the Hermes slippery slip. I just left there spending about $5000 in scarves. I’ve always had a great experience and the SA I work with is great.
You can check the H.com in the UK too and I like the PM size. It is a perfect daily work horse. With the Halzan, it is more versatile as can be carried in many ways. I prefer the Halzan.

OMG, I have been vacillating over which size of Evelyne to buy and can’t get to a store to try them out. 2 TPM colours popped up on the Hermes website this morning so I DID IT!! Pounced on the Brighton Blue. Hope it turns out to be a nice colour and to fit nicely. Fingers very much crossed.
No, the UK one. They also had a pink colour, rose something but it sold out in a flash, literally while I was paying for mine.
I am in the US and having been waiting for the right color to show up for a while now. The ones that my SA offered just did not sing to me.

I’ve been checking the website several times a day since October (crazy person, I know!) and it seems that bags get added pretty randomly. Today I looked at 9am, nothing new, 9.45am, two TPMs had appeared. Since then a PM in etoupe has been listed. I always look by searching for the Evelyne specifically, that seems to reliably bring up what’s available. TPM size is pretty rare to appear, I’ve hardly seen them online.
