My lovely SA emailed me about a Gold Evelyne they got in a recent shipment. I'm still undecided about it. Does anyone have any experience with color transfer?

Just want to ask what does Amazon mean? Different color straps? I’m dreaming about a tpm in Magnolia.

In terms of the leather on the back, no color transfer whatsoever and I use my bag a lot! One thing I have to note is the button on the back. Slight color transfer. It’s a little darker. Probably from the black jeans I always wear!

I have had 8 Evelynes and my favorites are my Epsom ones although I may be in the minority. I love them because I have a 5 year old and they are so easy to clean off in case she gets something on it. Plus, the color is so bright on them and they’re lighter. At first they aren’t slouchy like the Clemence but over time and use my Epsom are now slouchy. I use them every weekend for all kid activities (birthday parties, days at Disney, the zoo, etc.) and they still look great and are my favorite go to bag for casual days traveling or being with my family and I’d still take them to a restaurant. I actually sold all my Clemence ones because I didn’t use them for fear they would get dirty or ruined.
You need to bring it out! I get so many compliments. And you'll see how scratch resistant it is
I believe that, actually, the unperforated side onto which the button fastens is the front.

I have never asked for an Evelyne besides the TPM. But how hard or easy is it to get one in black, gold, or the navy color?
I see those colors show up somewhat regularly on the website week to week and I've been offered them at stores..so not impossible I think?

I lead a rather casual lifestyle and do a lot of walking so I've really loved the Evelyne for active out and about as the strap is is very comfortable and the clemence is very comfortable against my body. The PM holds just enough and I have another bag that folds up small that I use for extra carrying if I buy groceries etc. - I keep the pocket and snap facing out as it is easier access for slipping my phone in the pocket. Additionally I put my keys on a small loop chain that I can easily clip and unclip from the strap clasp so I can get to my keys easily.
It is my easy mode bag!
I am closer cleaning lol so some of my non use chanel I have sold and I do have the Jypsiere that I love to use. The Evelyne seems so easy to use but I don’t want to look floppy on me. I’m 5’8 and slim/fit. Wish they had a sz that’s in between pm and tpm lol I can’t seem to find modeling shots with tall people.
I'm wondering the same - I'm 5'9"/size 8 and lean toward smaller bags. I know the TPM will carry my essentials - but will it look ridiculous on my size? So many of the modeling shots are petite women and it looks great on them... I won't get to an H store until August to try them on - which is fine since I'm firmly on ban island until then.
Any taller tPF'ers own an Evelyne TPM that wants to show off a few mod shots? TIA
