Ode to the Double Sens

Gorgeous DS45 in bleu encre/gold on US website. I’m just afraid the 45 is too big, and trying it on isn’t an option as the nearest store is approx. 500 miles away. Ugh.

I'm debating between this color combo and the gold/rose Jaipur. The blue encre silk in wallet was added to the site last night, as well as the Jaune amber.

In the latest le Monde there is a photo of a sikkim DS with a printed horse (from a scarf)
Could. You. Just. Die?
Such gorgeousness. Another way to take a very simple idea and make it very expensive...

Did either of you purchase this bag?
I did recently from an original collector.
Beautiful, and smells so heavenly. Never used, was stored in its dustbag and box, both of which I received. Mark indicates 2011.
Paid full retail from the 2011 purchase, intend to enjoy to fullest.
Also found online an agenda cover in same print although colorway is off, more yellowish in field. Mark indicates 2012.

I’d love to know more about why this design came to be, etc.

Hello all, can you tell me please how the double sens straps are for staying on your shoulder? Whenever I've had a two strap tote, the outer strap always seems to slip off my shoulder. Thanks in advance!
