@jese1988 styled her GT very beautifully in this post which l was referring to
Thanks for quoting me and for the compliment. I love using GT shawls, especially where I live when it’s sunny, but at any moment, it will get chilly. I normally bring a pullover and I would hang it on my shoulder but now I just use the GT instead of a pullover. It’s enough for me to keep warm, and the size is not overwhelming

I love both sizes. 140 CSGMs is perfect for cold, winter days. GT is lighter. It doesn't add the bulk but keeps you warm and injects "a bit" of colour to any outfit. I love them both  X I've got two GTs last month:

What a glorious color!

Hello all, this is my first time on purseblog and I really hope you can advise. I lost (yes, lost...) my beloved 140 cashmere shawl, selle de dignitaire bandana green. impossible to find anywhere in Europe. it was a gift from my husband and I want to find it again. It was so perfect...the colors, the print, everything. I live in Switzerland and have already gone to the boutiques in Milan, Lugano and Geneva, but impossible to find. Can anyone advise where I could find it? Vintage stores in Paris or Milan, or online? Alternatively, I found this site https://www.buyma.us --- does anyone know it or has used it before? Thank you all very much for your precious help.

Did you take it to Portugal @LKBNOLA? Which design is that? L'Arbe du Vent? I love it, whatever it is and it looks fabulous on you!
I did @CedarWaxWing and thank you! I wore it on the plane both ways, on a boat trip and at night in the north of the country. It is L'Arbre du Vent-- gorgeous in CSGM no matter which cw you find...
Just gathering some opinions from the H scarf aficionados.. I tried on Les Douze Léopards in 140cm CSGM a couple months ago. I waited too long (years) and the CSGM's have gone up in price and now that I have slown down in shopping...I am reluctant to pull the trigger. I do like the triangle/drape look, but not loving any of the menswear losange options. I see H has the giant triangles now. Any takers if they are are good alternative to the CSGMs? Thanks!

This looks amazing on you @Techstep-- I may be biased as I love this design over much...

Well I said it over there and I will repeat myself! It is a stunning blue @Croisette7...
Thank you everyone for the kind feedback, pointers, and compliments! If I do go with a CSGM, the 12 Léopards is my favourite thus far. May need to get my butt into the store again to play with the GT's... the fun is in the hunt! I didnt think about the single vs double layer thickness and of course, the price-for-what-you-get factor. Then again, compared to Loro Piana or Brunello Cuccinelli scarves and stoles at similar price points, H feels like you bought an exquisite piece of wearable art and not just "a scarf". So I will tell my dear hubby...
Second your thoughts about "wearable art" and "the fun is in the hunt" @Techstep.

Both are beautiful and so nicely tied... I second this analysis as well @Glam_Mum♡ . I packed a CSGT, a 140 shawl and a 140 silk for a September trip to Portugal and used each and every one and the triangle multiple times for just the reasons you cited. I think there's a role for each. I live in a warm-ish climate in winter and a cool-ish climate in summer and have found the GTs very useful and pretty.

How heartbreaking-- I have not used that reseller but I wish you success in your hunt and if I myself see it anywhere I will DM you @goneoutshopping99.

Hello everyone! Just popping in on a beautiful autumn morning to share a fabulous thrift store find my daughter and I stumbled over. Duo d'Etriers cw 08. It is a little fuzzy and needed an airing out but we are delighted with our good luck.
